With the Claw Hawkman wins, without it Wolverine takes this. The Claw shouldn't really be allowed, but even with it Wolverine puts up a fight. Judging by how hard he has been hit in the past and just recently by Ragnorak, Wolverine can really take a hit.
"Srank's Wolverine," while synonyms with Marvels Wolverine, is apparently an "insult" used by people who really really really want to believe the one time Daredevil hurt Wolverine in a Garth Ennis comic is more valid than the twenty some odd times Wolverine has fought the Hulk...
Anyway back on topic. The Claw of Horus is not standard gear. Even if it was standard gear it's not a deal breaker. It has less then a dozen appearances and Queen Shrike was able to eat half a dozen blows from the thing with little effect. I guess I can expect idiots to call it "Srank's Claw of Horus" as a thinly valid attempt to cover the fact that once again I know more then they do, as they imply that my opinion is somehow irrelevant?

It was standard gear for pre-new universe HM as he used it all throughout Brightest Day and in Hawkman V.4. However, as far as I know current Hawkman doesn't use it or has it even appeared. So I would say it is NOT standard gear as the rules for the board you go by the current version of the character unless stipulated.
So standard gear is, what, an nth metal mace and a sword?
That nth metal gear is pretty nasty stuff... He was the only one in a team that included Superman and Captain Marvel who actually drew blood off Despero.
I think this would be a good fight.. Lot of blood spilled, lot of punishment dished out. Wolverine probably wins..
Yeah you can say that now, because Wolverine doesn't have his HF, but back when this thread was made, Logan would have tore Hawkman apart. I can't see Hawkman taking a punch from the Hulk that sends him flying half a mile, only to get up begging for round two, or trying to reason with an out of control Sasquatch while being beaten into the ground.
