Could be that or calling it The Reverse Flash from what some people have said.

What an odd time for DC to have Amethyst return. She seems a bit out of place here.

hahaha is that Batman holding his own against Flash? I bet you they're actually gonna do it, they will have Batman fighting Flash in h2h and doing well.
Maybe it's their Mortal Kombat vs DC equivalents.

Well, this is really no shocker to anyone but...
quote: IGN : You know, I put out a call for questions yesterday on Twitter, and a lot of fans have been asking about where Wally West is. Are we going to be seeing Wally in Flashpoint at all?
Johns : It's more focused on Barry and the DC Universe.
I think the latest issue of the Flash was the first time we've seen Wally for a while in DC and it looks like it will be more of the same here with Flashpoint.

Flash will end, but the Speed Force book will show Wally.

I don't get why some creators love so much the Silver Age, more balance would be cool.

Well the latest Flash was interesting. Professor Zoom has unlocked some of the secrets in the Negative Speed Force. He'll have new powers now.

I'm guessing Hal. My guess is Superman is this:

Thus the soldiers guarded S-marked vault in the 'comic trailer'.
Anyone remember that elseworlds where the government experiment on Supes for years and he'd never been adopted and they killed him. So much gets regurgitated, it was a Batman. Supes was called 'the green man'. Due to becoming green and dead through Kryptonite poisoning.

F*ck Barry, Johns and his stupid ass retcon. I want Wally back. Barry is even less interesting than Hal.

I'm actually liking Barry, atm. I dig the fact that he is, essentially, his own lightning bolt (ie. he internally generates the SF) - hence why the SF cannot be drained from him completely.
However, Barry being the linchpin for the speed force in general is a bit ballsy on Johns' part... I'm wondering where he'll go with that.

3 pluses from issue one:
The twist
Figuring out who's who in the alternate universe
[SPOILER - highlight to read]: The way they worked Captain Marvel
The rest of it... Ok, I guess... Though I have to say I smirked when [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Barry fell down the stairs, doing his best Xavier impression

The first issue was a bit anticlimactic, imo. The most excitement I got from it is that we will definitely see [SPOILER - highlight to read]: Captain Marvel and Dianna square off in future issues - but other then that....
Flash #12 was WAY better.
