[SPOILER - highlight to read]: Ezra goes through this portal to some sorta higher dimension "A World Between Worlds". While there he watches the Ahsoka/Vader duel through some portal and right before Vader strikes her down, Ezra pulls her through the portal to save her. Filoni literally twisted time and space to save his waifu.
As for the Sheev stuff, it wasn't bad at all. In fact, I'd say it was an awesome display of power. Sure, Ahsoka and Ezra block his first blast of sorcery but it takes everything they have and Sidious didn't seem to be using any effort. Honestly, it's easily one of the most impressive displays of mastery and power yet.

I know you're upset over [SPOILER - highlight to read]: your idol not longer being on the level of Vader, but chin up . Remember where the show was at season 1?

One thing I would have loved to see is to have one of the gateways show some EU goodness like the Vong or Darth Revan. That would have been both hilarious and awesome.

I just had a horrendous thought between these episodes and the movies. Given that they seem to want to try so hard with having the characters be so relevant to the movies.
I sincerely hope they aren’t gonna throw Leia under the bus and have Ahsoka or Ezra be that “no, there is another” bit that Yoda spoke of..
there was enough evidence to go off of for Ezra to put it together without being shown Palpatine using the force. Ezra already knew that the emperor had most of the Jedi hunted down and killed, he already knew that the Empire used Sith Lords, as well as inquisitors who were known for their usage of the dark side, as well as being the sole ruler of an oppressive regime that eliminated those that that voiced their distain for the leadership. There's also the fact that Maul was actively seeking to fight the Empire and I'm pretty sure that he voiced that the reason for this was because he was betrayed. It really shouldn't be all that hard for anyone to put it together.
Finally got around to watching these episodes. Yeah, they were pretty phenomenal even with the overwrought way they brought Ahsoka back. I loved how they expanded the mythology of the Force and show how the Force is so much more then just the Jedi and the Sith. This has been a recurring theme in Rebels and TCW but here more then anywhere else they showed just how large the Force is. Plus tying it in with the Mortis family was damn cool.
I also really enjoyed the minister. It was great to see one Palpatine's stooges in action.
That would have been great, I'd like to see him return but I'd hope he would survive for awhile and not be killed off right away. Apparently, according the to episode guides, they were initially planning to make the minister Vader's "butler" from R1 but decided against it when they decided to kill him off.
