Everytime Cyttorak grants him that power, month later he is back jobbing. I thought about that when I read this entire run. It's all a temp thing. Hopefully not though.
It sounds like they are changing the nature of Cyttorak's desires for the Juggernaut power.
Most of the time when Cain has been depowered it is because he became good or disobeyed Cyytorak's wishes for destruction. Perhaps now that won't be the case.
Juggs, even at his worst, is better than Beast fighting performance-wise.
Don't really understand why you don't have a problem saying Cain's jobbing, but Beast somehow not...
Anyway, Horsemen (Daken, Banshee, Sentry) design sucked for me at first, then under different artists it looked much better. So who knows, maybe it'll be the same with Juggernaut w/ wires.
This is what I am hoping. With what Colossus was saying, maybe Cain won't fluctuate or play hot potato with the powers anymore. It's just knowing the characters history, I don't have a lot of hope.

Its good to see Cain back in the reigns. Besides the art, the only other bad thing is how the fight ended. I don't know how they're going to explain the gap in Cain's appearances while hes running around w/o his TP weakness. I'm not sure it was a good idea taking away that weakness. Now fights won't end without potential PIS. As always and with everything, we'll have to wait and see.
You're definitely right. Writers tend to fluctuate a character's power level and powers in general, especially on the lesser used ones.

I'm glad Cain got his power back, and I'm glad they made him stronger. And while I enjoy the fact that even his main glaring weakness is gone, that'll make it soooooo much harder for them to get him in good stories. Because now without BFR, there's literally nothing anyone can seemingly do to him.
And while I agree that Colossus will always be the Thing to Juggernaut's Hulk, I just wish they didn't seem to regulate him to that role with everyone. He's one of the physically strongest mutants on the planet as well as heroes period, but every writer seems to forget that and has him struggle with shit he shouldn't.
Except for getting his hands broken just by hitting him or getting his ribs broken by a hit. They better punctuate just how f*cking uber he is in his other encounters. Other people better try and fail just as spectacularly, or it'll be obvious Colossus is still getting the shit end of a very long stick.
