Wow that was a rough ending this week. I really think that the cast should be written a bit smarter though. I kept wondering why they wouldn't close the door in that facility? Not going to say any more but I was bugging over a couple of things. Good ending though, and liking the soundtrack. Last week they had Jane's Addiction playing.
Not in my opinion. The army is just as dumb and useless as we thought they'd be made out to behave. Their accuracy was worse than Andrea from like season 2 or whenever she shot Daryll.
I enjoyed it. I've just accepted the fact that within the world of the outbreak people aren't as cynical or aware of zombie lore as our real world is and wouldn't think to shoot first and ask questions later or think two steps ahead. I've also accepted that the military in this world is a lot younger and less dedicated than it's real world counterpart.
I'd liken her to a less radical version of Shane, at most. She seems willing to do whatever it takes to keep herself and her loved ones safe... And I'm sure that 'trait' will only become more pronounced in seasons to come.

I'm halfway through this series and it's not horrible, but it's vastly inferior to TWD, and a definitely quick mone grab. It's pretty lame with a teenage girl losing her boyfriend and going away to college and a divorced dude dealing with his two wives. Pretty effing gay. I think TWD avoided dealing with this end of the worlday senario because they had so many more interesting stories to tell.
I'll still probably go ahead and watch it to the end, though, cause I hear the final episode is pretty good. But if this was a 20 episode season I'd probably quit.
I think he'll last at least 2 to 3 seasons, assuming this show gets renewed a couple times. Dude is resourceful and coldblooded. That already makes him more viable to survive than all the other brothas the show has had thus far save Morgan aka Denzel from Book of Eli. [SPOILER - highlight to read]: I just don't know how far they can play up the surviving the apocalypse on a yacht angle, but I expect it to eventually blow up in Strand's face when piracy becomes the norm. They'll have to go to ground eventually.
As FTWD's Producer, Dave Erickson, mentioned: [SPOILER - highlight to read]: the group certainly aren't the only people who think getting to water is a good idea. Thus, the 'people vs. people' concept will evidently play a big part of Season 2.
