Peyton Westlake (Darkman) Already wanted for other crimes, this burn unit victim took out 8 cops when he was arrested.
Richard Riddick (Riddick) found in an abandoned building nearby, also took dozens of cops to bring him in.
Adalind Schade (Grimm) weird lady, freaked everyone out in the station when angered although no one can agree on what they saw.
Neelix (ST:Voyager) Odd little man, claims to be from the future, obviously an escapee from a psych ward, good cook though.
Justin McLeod (The Man Without a Face) says he's a painter but was in the wrong place and is a suspected pedophile.
Charlie Houk (Land of the Dead) wanted for corpse desecration --insists shooting them in the head keeps them dead, crazy guy.
Rrrrow (Monkeybone) strange girl thinks she's a cat, had to muzzle her when she bit several officers.
Fredrick Sykes (The Fugitive) one-armed man brought in for questioning after a doctor accused him of murdering his wife.

Two cyborgs (more powerful than Robocop).
A werewolf of sorts.
Clouseau brings that X factor only a bumbling detective can create, totally throwing bad guys off.
You have legit metahumans in Dragon, Witchblade, Kung Fury.
Two bad ass normals in Hill & Hex, to keep things grounded.

Plot
Millenia from now, or millenia ago, as time and space are fluid, evil space Empress Rita Repulsa and the good Sorceress of Greyskull, fight for dominion of the magical/super advanced land of Oz.
Their reality warping magic causes rifts to randomly drag ppl from all sorts of realities and timelines, casualties of war.
Some do better than others.
Penny Robinson arrives, is saved from an evil witch by some sort of super dog, meets a man with no memory, who's been there long enough to have heard about a wizard in an emerald city, who stays neutral, out of the war.
They figure if he's powerful enough to do that he might have the power to help them.
Along the way they meet a couple more out of place ppl and band together.

Characters
PENNY ROBINSON-Lost in space, now even more lost. Looking for a way back to her family.
MAX-Pup of the original bio engineered dog, has his dad's bad ass powers, but is mellow, thanks to his mom's DNA. Lost in Oz, he bonds with Penny, saving her life.
JOHN DOE-A capable fighter, he knows everything...except who he is. Wandered without much purpose when he got sucked into Oz, until he met Penny and Max.
ANDREW MARTIN-A robot who wants to be a real man, no matter where he is, Andrew was lost and confused in Oz, and joins Penny, John and Max, hoping the wizard might have answers about humanity.
PVT. HUDSON-Colonial Marine, pulled from one death planet to another. He's no coward, but, knowing he'll eventually run low on ammo, he figures sticking with the kid, the big guy, the robot and the killer dog provides him safety in numbers.

RITA REPULSA-Rules all of Western Oz. She wants nothing less than to rule all of Oz. And the head of Penny Robinson, who seems to have killed her loyal minion. That cant go unanswered. Something like this weakens her position and changes the status quo.
SARAH SANDERSON-Evil witch sucked into Oz without her sisters, who joined Rita Repulsa as her minion. Was in her Eastern forest, trying to catch and eat a little girl, when she was attacked from behind and killed by some sort of hell hound.

SORCERESS OF GREYSKULL-Protects all of Notthern Oz. sees Penny as an oportunity to draw her enemy, Repulsa out. There's something special about the girl, for her to have gathered companions so quickly, and beaten Repulsa's minion. Her presence has changed the status quo.
SABRINA SPELLMAN-Good witch transported to Oz, taken in by the Sorceress and made safe. Given control of the Southern part of Oz, to keep it from falling to evil forces Repulsa might send that way.

PATRICK JANE-Stranded in Oz, Jane ran afoul of all four magical women that wage war there, early on. He used his skills as a mentalist, and his huckster wits, to get out of every situation, and eventually settled in the Emerald City, setting himself up as their wizard. He struck deals between the forces of the West and North to make his kingdom neutral, and of benefit to both parties. So far nothing's happened to change the status quo.

The Rapist: Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (Prison Break) A serial rapist and general psychopath, very smart and able to seem like a team player whilst doing heinous activities. Upgraded prosthetic hand has a lot of dirty tricks in it.
A God: Phil Connors (Groundhog Day) lives the same day infinitely gaining omniscience, immortality, speaks every language, is an expert in every field of study there is, grandmaster martial artist in thousands of styles, etc.
Rich Sociopath: Earl Brooks (Mr. Brooks) bankrolls the team for his own amusement, this wealthy businessman does a lot of charity work to disguise the fact he's a ruthless serial killer.
Poor Sociopath: Gaear Grimsrud (Fargo) this is just another job for him, allows him to hurt people so he does it well.
Aging Racist: Rufus (Dogma) the thirteenth apostle, can't believe he's cursed to be on this team & complains constantly he's surrounded by dumbass crackers, can't be killed because he's already dead, gifted with vast knowledge and wisdom.
The Normie: Ziva David (NCIS) embedded in the team to monitor their activities and if need be recommend they be shut down and jailed. The problem is they're really good at decimating the criminal underworld so she's conflicted.

^^^see, your build is one of those oh snap/oh crap deals for me.
As in oh snap, he did a really great job with these weird ass descriptions, that was fun to read!
And, oh crap, he went the same way i went (these descriptions lend themselves to a suicide squad type scenario), but did it way better!
Had to go back to the drawing board.
I put together a team of heroes, flawed ones like the Watchmen, though i hadnt wanted to try that originally.

Manchester has gotten that fanboy rep of being a genius mastermind who can beat anyone with his powers. Well, i went with someone i KNOW deserves that rep.
Rick is the kind of guy who wil save the multiverse and shit on it all at the same time.

RIDDICK (movie)
My big black guy. His sense of self preservation means he'll fight to save the multiverse. He's amoral enough not to question Rick's sketchy methods.
He also doesnt sweat Rick, and Rick recognizes and respects a stone cold killer when he sees one.
MENAGERIE:
DREN (movie)
With her strength, speed, and animal attributes, to include wings and a poisonous stinger tail, Dren is a dangerous being.
Much smarter than she seems, though Rick often treats her as a pet.
