I've smiled at people in a fight before and I gotta tell you, It was never because I was helpless. The fact that you could draw such a conclusion having actually read the comic (and i'm giving you the benifit of the doubt here since it shouldn't be too hard considering most of it is actually on this thread) and draw that conclusion, only points to the conclusion that your accounts of what has happened cannot in any way be trusted.

hmm that's intersting...spiderman didn't stop hitting wolverine because HE COULDN'T.....He even readily admitted that if he gave wolverine even one mere second wolverine would kill him...try and web him up.....anythig that would be considered a sufficient amount of webbing would take more than that...then spiderman would have died...spiderman's punches were doing nothing to logan physically....a barrage of his punches didn't KO logan then and another barrage of his punches couldn't take down logan now......so here we have this fight with everyone claiming spiderman can ko wolvie....he can't...

He could theoretically collapse his trachea, but Spidey doesn't tend to fight like that; he's untrained, which is why I argued Batman could beat him in the Bats vs Spidey fight. Admittedly, he's not the type to go dunking Wolvie's head in a river either.

Well, technically Spidey is faster than Logan and if he had a certain element of surprise, which he could theoretically do with his sheer ability to just move (for instance, duck and high kick with that extreme flexibility), so he could hit him. It's a question, however, of can Logan's healing factor take care of a collapsed trachea, can it do it fast enough, and will Spidey even think to do it?

spidey sneaking up on wolverine is highly unlikely even with his speed...like I said before...wolverine's nailed speed demon and quicksilver before...he should be okay to deal with spidey's speed esp when spiderman begins to fatigue.... his ability to cope with said strike however is contingent upon whether or not he's well fed and rested before the fight, or if he's in a berserker rage....otherwise it would hurt A LOT....but once again....wolverine: fist to face technique, it's worked against spidey 4 times already....

Not so much sneak up on him as fake him out, but yeah, I was saying he could do it, not will. As I said, though, I highly doubt Spider-Man would even think about it; he's a brawler, no finesse but from what's inherently there.
