Don't worry, everyone beleives in the false ideal of democracy, not even realizing that we DON'T live in a democracy in the first place.
You see this country is actually an oligarchy. . that's where there are a select few that actually decide what goes on, you see with the electoral college in place we don't even get to pick our presidents, a select few people get to choose who will be the next president. And then with our system the way it is they all make the rules, and the populace has really no choice in that matter.
Just as well seeing as how the nobel "democracy" is little more than mob rule. The majority decides everything while the minority has no say. Viva la democracy eh?

It doesn't matter WHO is winning in the polls. there could be 5000 votes for wolverine and 5 for spiderman. It doesn't change the fact that it is all OPINION. and Opinion is not fact, never has been, never will be.
After all, this earth is not flat, with a geocentric solar system. Disease is not caused by bad smells or unbalances of humors in the body.
