the irony is that both my sig and avy PROVE one hit from venom puts spiderman in a bad position. and BOTH of them were during storylines in which spiderman actually needed venom's help to beat carnage...

now who is the idiot 🙄 yeah I can name call too any ways running 100 mph is a totally different display of speed than in close hand to hand combat. why do think hulk runs so damn fast? he uses his strength in those legs he bounds as he runs, he leaps in kilometres and/or miles. catching rockets? yeah so seeing the rocket from a far distance and being able to get in front of it makes you fast. rockets can travel faster than the speed of sound I would like too see him run one of those down I dont think 100 miles per hour is fast enough. yeah wolverine and spiderman can keep out of hulk's reach for a while but he keeps getting faster and faster, which is why spiderman plays tag with hulk (opting to hit him and run away, hit him and run away) again, when he gets in close he gets squashed more often than not..
wolverine proved to be too fast for hulk in his first appearance... and has only shown glimpses of it since.. but instead of piecemeal attacks wolverine prefers head on confrontations...
I'd like to see you catch a rocket since it's apparently so easy... pffffft...

are you saying that spidey cant hurt wolverine? anyone who heals as fast as he can would make you think you cant hurt him. That is his weakpoint wolverine does in fact feel pain making you think he does not is probably part of his game. When you let up your offense up he strikes. Okay, here are some facts for the stubborn ones:
1. People who are crucified still can breathe. This is a fact, and is has been proved on this thread a couple of times by different people. I haven’t read one “counter proof” so far. So they can breathe, end of discussion.
2. Wolverine needs air, just like anyone else. Sure he can keep his breath for a pretty long time, but he still needs to breath. He isn’t a fish, he has lungs who needs to be filled with air.
3. There is no reason to think Spider-Man can’t web him up. He has done it in the past with stronger people and with faster people, and it worked just fine. He also did it with Wolverine once. No reason to assume he can’t do it again. And while he’s at it, he can fill his mouth (or lungs) and nose with web.
These facts are not up for debate. All the rest is.
from what I've read, Death could come in hours or days. No proof Wolverine's healing factor helps him when he's not breatheing. Also, he WAS breatheing, just not enough. In fact, some people didn't even die of Asphyxiation, so I don't see how this can be seens as direct proof of Wolverine surviveing WITHOUT Breatheing AT ALL for an hour.

The flaw in your logic that "comic science sucks" is that... well, it basically agrees with my point. All of your examples (IW, Cyclops) were A happens, and B should happen, but it doesn't. Same thing with Wolvie being crucified. Wolverine was put on a cross and should have had no air for an extended period of time. However, the fact that he could talk shows that he COULD breathe. A=crucifixion, B=not breathing. Face it, the people thought he could breathe.
Do you have ANY other places where Wolverine went without air? Someone doing something once is hardly a consistant feat.
Oh, and beating Hulk is still an example of Hulk jobbing terribly. If nothing else, Hulk's healing factor simply sucks in those fights. Wolverine regrows ALL of his internal organs in less than a second, yet Hulk is seriosuly injured by (relatively) shallow scratches. And taking Hulk level shots without effects is still pretty sketchy. And of course, there's the whole knockback issue which you yourself brought up. Wolvie should fly miles every time Hulk so much as backhands him...

Cover his mouth? First off, DAMN GOOD AIM especially on a moving target. Secondly, he can cut the web.... Thirdly, if cutting the web is too difficult (yeah right) he can cut his lips off to breathe 🙂
You can't for expect for webbing to play a major role in beating a guy who has 6 ultra shart blades attached to him.
