Ummm.....his healing factor helped me, didn't I say that? it was the lack of air which no matter what depth Wolverine is at he is not going to breath underwater. Pressure doesn't have anything to do with that. Hell, people have drowned with 1 inch of water in their tub.

So 1 inch of water in your tub will drown you as fast in deep water with water pressure while fighting for your life with tigershark ?

So you're saying it's not plausible? Remind me again who has faster speed and reactions...?

Flash

Didn't the Punisher blow off wolvies face and wolvie is walking around...

He wasn't fighting Tigershark at that moment, he was traped by hi....good gravy, I'm not continuing this until I post the scans later.

Are you seriously implying Wolverine doesn't need to breath? Actually hold up on that till I post the scans. It won't be till later due to school and then work.

Spiderman when dealing with threats, but his spidersense doesn't help him read minds . . .

Why does it take two secodns to make a swipe? 😕

Particularly when he's moved his hands faster than normal people could react. . . that's faster than two seconds. . . 😬

(Somewhat irrelevant but) you drown faster in fresh water than salt water...

Water pressure would do more than just cause his healing factor to need to save him. if he's down far enough to burst his eardrums wouldn't it also be compressing his chest? 😬

I think that's what twister is trying to say. . .

Are you putting words in my mouth 🙄

Would you dorwn faster with your chest being compressed or not?

And on a side note: Really? I didn't know that. . .why is that exactly?

Like I said I will post the scans, and the whole point of the scans is to show that Wolverine cannot hold his breath for 2 hours [web expiry time].

So how close is spidey when he shoots web on wolvies face...close enough to get stabbed or close enough to dodge ?

If he is so far away how he teleport fast enough to stop wolvie from swiping.

I'm not saying that it takes two secs that was LP. I'm saying how long does it take for Wolverine to bring his hand up to his face and make the necessary incisions to remove the webbing, assuming that all points of the webbing that make contact have equal adherence to his surface? Now do you think that in the time that Wolverine is doing so Spiderman could shoot more web at his hand thus adhering them to his face partially if not completely. How about a consecutive streams of web from both hands?

I don't know, my whole point is to show that Wolverine couldn't hold his breath for 3 days, which was implied earlier. This just shows he definetly could not. Now your debating the point that shouldn't even be debated.

Can't wolverine turn around.....xmark...

Why would he need to do that whenn all he needs to do is open air/eye holes in it? 😕

He doesn't need to completely remove the webbing, it's not like it poisons or burns him or anything. . .

On the side note, it has to do with osmotic gradient.

I'm actually not entirely sure about the first part. Drowning isn't to do with an inability to inhale and exhale, like for example pneumothorax. The lungs are filled with water. I'd assume that the pressure would concentrate osmolytes in the water. You're probably more likely of dying from nitrogen coming out of solution if you're at great depths anyway.

BTW don't take the above as absolute... it's more conjecture, it's been a while since I've done any respiratory system stuff... and I didn't pay all that much attention when I did.
