Wolverine vs. Spider-Man

Probably so. It was a training session. I'm sure neither was going all out in a training session though. I'm not sure whether Wolvie was trying to stab him or not though. He said it was a mistake, but he and Spidey had had words earlier.

I'm coming into this undecided so I'm just gonna start typing.

Spider-Man would have to use hit-and-run tactics to avoid getting hacked up at close range. Immediately I'd think Wolverine has the edge but if you think of it in terms of sheer strength Spidey might have him. Just dropping a car on Logan's head could end it quickly. But... healing factor! And the claws... claws could shred through webs easily. The fight could go on for hours. Wolverine might get a victory from endurance, but he'd be hard-pressed to get in a claw against Peter's spider-sense.

Webbing applied heavily might catch Wolverine off-guard... But breaking bones is a top way of beating people up and Wolverine's immune.
End result: Spider-Man.

lol funny how dropping a car on wolverine would barly hurt him lol. hell spidermans punches would do more damage then the car. also how do u come to the conclusion spiderman wins? if spidermna kept running away wolverine could easiliy just hide and spiderman would not have any idea were wolverine was. wolverine could sneak attack him and yes spiderman spidersense would warn him but only as wolverine attacking which he would not have enough tiem to dodge.

No I got tired of you and wolverine fanboys defending the training scence so I got you to debunk it for me, thanks.

u guys still here....^

This isn't even a contest. Spidey would spank Wolverine, not merely decisively, but embarassingly. He could stand toe-to-toe with Wolverine, and dip, dodge, and duck everything Wolverine threw at at him. Heck, he could stand there, perfectly still, and when Wolverine tried to attack, he's fast and skilled enough to just grab Wolverine's wrists with his hands, use his wall-crawling feat so Wolverine can't pull away, and then smack Wolverine with his own hands! (You know, the way older siblings torture younger one? "Stop hitting yourself, Logan!" *biff* "Stop hitting yourself!" *smack*). Wolverine cannot cut through Spidey's webbing, not in any reasonable time-frame, and certainly not if Spidey strings him up with his arms spread wide...no latitude to cut with, and not nearly enough strength to get it.

As far as Spidey's offensive odds, yes, Wolverine's Adamantium skeleton (assuming he has it) would protect him a lot. However, no amount of healing factor or metallic bones would protect his brain from rattling around inside his skull like a pinball machine after taking a couple of sharp punches from Spidey...and that's how people get K.O.'d in the real world, kids. Spidey would knock him out, at a moment of his choosing, and Wolverine would be powerless except to have some fanboys cursing the name of Spiderman on his behalf!

Spidey wins this, 10/10. Not even close.

I wouldn't give Spidey 10/10, but you make some good points.

I'm a big fan of the recent New Avengers book in which Peter knocks Logan through the shatter-proof glass of one of Tony Stark's towers. It wasn't a fight, but still a truly great moment.

You still didn't grasp what was going on. . .

Makes me wonder if I should even bother, you obviously don't even know what the hell you're talkign about just from this . . .

I'm sorry, but that's my take on it. Wolverine's no match for Spiderman.

And being uninformed as you are I'm not sure if I should attempt to fix that problem.

Ah, yes. Rather than refute the argument, you attack the arguer. A classic sign that you don't know what the hell you're "talkign" about. 😛

Yeah, yeah. Apocalypse, Sabretooth, adamantium transplant. Yadda yadda. He did spend years without it, though. For sake of completeness, I included that clause. As you can plainly see, though, my argument takes into account the adamantium in his skeleton, so your point is rather moot.

Hardly. Though attacking the typo was a nice touch on your part.

I just don't know if I should bother with the argument, seeing as how it probably has no basis, seeing as its not from a viable source.

Aw, you launch into a vitriolic ad hominem, and take offense to my pointing out the fact that you obviously are gettins so revved up that you can't even spell talking? Grow some skin.

Your point, as clearly illustrated in my response, is moot. My argument too into account the adamantium. Your attempts to dismiss me out of hand have failed, and I really wonder why you would need to dismiss my arguments so immediately.

In any case, you've proved yourself to be an unworthy and dishonest opponent. Perhaps next time, if you keep a civil tone, I may consider looking upon your arguments as having some merit. Unless, of course, you apologize. I'm not so hard-hearted as to be above a simple apology for a simple misunderstanding. After all, this is supposed to be a friendly discussion, isn't it?

Wow, the hypocracy coming off of that bit is astounding. . .

"Assuming he has it" shows that you are NOT up to date on Wolverine. Hopw can you make a viable argument in the first place if you are CLEARLY operating off of only what you WANT to happen?

Seriously?

Because they obviously can't be true since you obviously don't know what the hell you're talkign about.

Why would I care about wehat you think about me? You haven't earned my erespect either. Your post clearly illistrates that you are opperating under extreme bias. I argue with enough people that are biased.

You're calling ME dishonest? You come in here and post operating with insufficient knowledge, pretending that you do, and that is not dishonest?

I'm sorry, but until you've done some research on the material at hand I have no desire to argure with a biased hypocritical fanboy such as yourself. Thank you and good day sir. You are dismissed.

Next?

You need to learn how to debate, fella. Any formalized debating team would have laughed you off it at after your first response.

Oh, and your meaningless attempts to dismiss me out of hand, once again, are dismissed. Frankly, I don't care about the nonsense posts of a rabid Wolverine fan. My argument stands for itself, for any neutral third party to bear witness to.

You think I care?

You still don't know your material. So you STILL aren't a viable source. Sorry.
