I apologize, I meant no offense. I just meant that you could have been a bit more...ruthless in your analysis. 😈

And I completely agree...Spidey could wrap this up long before fatigue set in. Not that Spidey hasn't been known to fight for hours on end anyway...but he wouldn't need it.

Ditto

Ditto. Spidey's also fast enough to take it to Wolvie in close quarters though(Graveyard was pretty close quarters), he's just gotta remember that punches aren't everything. I hate it when Spidey fights like Superman 😠
That's one of the nice things about military training it helps you to think under pressure. . Spiderman sometimes fails to think clearly under pressure, which is probably the only reason why he does that. Anger or panic and he goes h2h. . . Which is why sometime the first round hell be beaten and then after thinking things through he'll make a comeback in the second round.

The damage caused by this would be greater than the damage caused by Wolverine's claws. False.

I didn't claim this in the post, but again, it depends on the target. Against a normal guy, Ock would probably be more deadly (crushing ribs, internal organs, massive trauma, all from a single blow). Against a brick wall, Ock would do more damage. Against someone like the Thing, Wolverine wouldn't even get noticed, but Ock might actually be able to slap him around for a bit. It depends on the situation.

And, of course, if Ock connected with those metal talons on the ends of the tentacles, any damage Wolverine could do, Ock would do...better!

Spiderman doesn't think under pressure, sheesh I mean saving lives and avoiding life-threatening attacks? Come on, he's a genius and uses advanced ways to take his opponents out when he's at his last limb.

He was young, AND it was bad writing on his part.

And, no. They took `em away.

Ock was brutal w/those things. Side note: Anybody ever see the recent Marvel comedy book? I think it's called "what the ***?" Or something like that. Anyway, that had a "what if heroes fought other hero's villains" piece and Spidey was getting stepped on by Galactus in one panel and in another, Ock was holding up Cap's shield w/bloody tentacles. Cap was a lifeless bloody mess on the ground. Funny stuff, although I hate the idea of Cap getting killed, not to mention Spidey getting stepped on😆

Against someone like Thing, Wolverine would do more damage. Ock's arms are 10 tonners? Thing wouldn't notice it. Thing had to wear a mask on his face after Wolverine ravaged it. Thing went down to his knees when Wolverine buried his claws in his shoulder in Enemy of the State.

And about the damage caused by Dr. Oct's arms... they would do more damage to a wall, a human (depending) but not to anything as strong as the material Dr. Oct's arms are made out of or greater.

LoL Doc's tentacles are adamantium now and 1 ten ton arm is stronger then Wolverine's entire body.

So no, no more adamantium for Dr. Octopus.

Hey I never SAID he would beat thing althought it's a posibility. I said he cut his face so bad he had to wear a helmet for a LONG time. He also stabbed him deep into his shoulder, so deep Thing fell to his knees in pain. I do not lie 🙂

That has everything to do with popularity, which has 100% of nothing to do with a KMC bout.

it still doesn't matter the strength of 10 tons behind one tentacle is far greater then the force wolverine can generate with all his might🙂

Nice red herring ad hominem, can't add anything to the topic, so lets try to attack your opponents credibility.

Yes he wasn't portrayed as a god was he? So naturally it was bad writing. 🙄

So why doesn't Marvel's number one boy ever win outright?

Yeah, it ain't always about popularity. Especially since it is cannon and did continue on later therough the comics. . . But hey I guess that doesn't matter if we can find any excuse to discard Wolverinre feats, eh?

Wolvie did beat thing twice.

Honestly though, one thing about Spidey's popularity more than almost any ohter hero is that it's not based as much on him kicking a$$ all the time, Spidey can lose and still be cool. Not too many other characters have that. Spidey's always been booked as an underdog.

And your point is?

Spiderman is more popular than Wolverine.

If Wolverine only beats people due to popularity, why hasn't Spiderman beaten Wolverine?

Wow can you cognitively follw any trains of thought at all? or do you just spout random gibberish in hopes that someone will think you actually made a point?

In other words: Nice non-sequiter.

Cresh dishing it 💃
