Not very much. The web is only so fast to reach destination (the further away the longer it takes). Gravity will not wait around.

My scenario remains the more likely of the two. Put more basically, Spiderman gets Wolverine to the ground using his strength, then holds his arms down and webs them. Wolverine is dead.

Yours relies on Wolverine having precog. He's not Spiderman, he's not Deathstroke, hell, hes not freaking Batgirl. Besides Nightcrawler, who teleports behind people all the time anyway, (meaning it's not especially hard to predict his next attack) has Wolverine done anything that precise with his senses? Not even close. Your scenario also requires Wolverine to be at least as fast, if not faster, than Spiderman himself. Simply not true.

For Spiderman to pin Wolverine down would require him to grab both wrists.. they may not be in a position to grab at the same time and that's very dangerous considering how sharp they are. He could very easily lose fingers or wrists.

Wolverine HAS shown to be very precise with his sense of hearing, VERY. I'll leave it up to W8888 to bring up examples since he seems to be the authority. I own every Wolverine comic but I'm not about to search through them tonight.

You're right. As stated before, it would be much easier to contain Wolverine than it was for Spider-Man to pull off this feat.

Haven't watched much outside of music videos, but I hope his eye for developing original content is better than his talent for screenplays or penning comic books.
