[First off, yes House of M happen, but again the history flash backs did not happen, like the pic of Nick Fury beating Wolverine never happened. Those were just false memories given to Wolverine.
First off, if they were real that makes no sense. Wolverine was a combat veteran before Nick Fury was even alive. Second, Cap would be old as dirt. Namor is not a mutant. They never said that. That was only what was said in House of M history class, which again is not evidence in the normal universe. Peter uncle Ben is not alive]
Actually, it's been known for years on end that Namor is a mutant. Namor was once a member of the Brotherhood, and worked closely with Magneto. Now, the memory of Wolverine getting whipped is very much factual, and very probable. Nick Fury is near the level of Captain America with his skills, and it shouldn't be a suprise that he could beat Wolverine with ease. Also, in those pictures, we get another shot of Wolverine being a cheap punk, and getting owned. Wolverine may be a combat veteran, but he is by no means the best in Marvel, if that's what you're insinuating. Most people would put Shang-Chi, Iron Fist, Black Panther, Captain America, Nick Fury, and Taskmaster FAR above Wolverine. Also, many people have retained memory of House of M. Read Son of M, and you'll see that Spider-Man was reeling horribly from the whole incident.
