Wolverine vs. Spider-Man

"In that picture, Spider-Man hardly uses all his web."

I know...but the point remains....wolverine was moving too fast for the webbing to adhere and leave him helpless.....wolverine can cut through the web with ease as well.

"Finland."

well your english is better than my fin. lol....you're doing fine man....just try to be a bit more clear.

and they call us wolverine fans "fanboys"
constantly show them and tell them how wolverine outmatches spidey not with speculation but with fact and they still try to say were wrong.
now thats funny!

Spiderman has trapped Wolverine in webbing though.

yep

I was going to post the scan but I think it was posted a while ago and they started griping about it being bad writing.

yeah it was.pretty cool pic too!

On a good day spidey can web wolverine but not 10 out of 10 times

and a good way wolverine wouldn't let that happen.

I agree with Wanderer on many points as well.

I know I still think Spiderman would win, but after giving it a consiberable amount of time, thinking about it a lot and such, I can see that it would not be as easy for Spiderman to win as I once thought. But I also see that Wolverine does indeed have the ability to win this fight. It would be a good fight to see. I believe--given Spiderman's experience, superior strength, superior speed, superior agility, enhanced endurance, and superior reflexes--that he will defeat Wolverine--with his superior durability, enhanced endurance, adamantium skeleton, superior fighting ability, and of course his adamantium claws--9/10 times.

But I do not think it will be as easy as once thought. Wolverine does have his nasty surprises for Spiderman.

i don't think spiderman can beat logan with physical force....like i said he isn't tempored with a fighting style....he's just an AMAZING (pun intended) street fighter and very creative with his abilities.....but because he's not honed or trained like cap or dd all he's relying on his his brute strength in a punch and his speed.....I mean don't get me wrong....spiderman's experience has obviously allowed him to develop his own fghting style and such....but he's still missing some knowledge in the area of fighting ability...he probably doesn't know how to shift his weight perfectly align his body for ultimate power etc etc like say shang chi who has had to develop these skills for lack of superpowers........that being said I don't think spiderman knows pressure points and his speed and strength won't mean anything to a uy who can not only shrug off his best shots with a smile.....but immediatly heal from any damage that he sustains from spiderman's fists alone......besides that even for spiderman's speed logan can be impressively fast for a longer period of time since the lactic acids in his body are either supressed or are flushed out of his system due to his healing factor if spiderman gets in close those claws can do some serious damage and logan can anticipate spiderman's attacks.....or at the very least take them with ease....one slash and this fight takes a differen direction....i'de even venture to say that if logan and spidey had a fist fight logan has a better chance of knocking spiderman out than the other wat around due o his hard as all hell adamantium...he's done it to stronger guys than spidey.....so once again...it all comes down to th webbing....and that's a tossup in my book.

In the movie? That arguement is almost always full of it. Not that i'm trying to throw insults out there, but come on, by that standard every time someone argues against superman, I'll just say he reverses the rotation of the earth to turn back time and redo it.

In the comics Spider-man stopped a roller coaster car doing over sixty and loaded with kids with his webbing. I read it in the ultimate compilation series.

like in ultimate spiderman?

No I'm talking about the black and white "old school comics" compilations. they have em at the book stores.

gotcha

boxers of equal strength knock each other out all the time
with no damage to the skull or bones.....
imagine getting punched by someone at least 25 times stronger than you....

What Is a Concussion?
The brain is made up of soft tissue and it's cushioned by blood and spinal fluid. When someone gets a blow to the head or his or her head hits something very hard, the brain suddenly shifts inside the skull and can knock against the skull's bony surface. Sometimes this can happen with a lot of force. A concussion (say: kun-kuh-shun) is a temporary change in the way the brain works when it is suddenly moved or jarred in this way.

indestructible bones don't help.
healing fast means you recover fast.
wolverine taking punches from people this strong
and getting right back up like nothing is pure crap.
he heals fast.
that takes time, hovever quick.

"indestructible bones don't help.

call it what you want and you can whine and complain all you want about how things work in the real world but in comics it's a well known fact that wolverine doesn't get concussions from hulk level hits....that's that.

and you think that's how wolverine should properly be written?

It doesn't matter how wolverine should be written....this is just how wolverine HAS been written. my opinion on the matter is irrelivant. the fact remains....

cool sig by the way.

they're comic book characters for god sake!
it should take a hell of a knock em out!
