Things have to make sense! then pluck out Cyclop's eyes but don't get sucked in to the pocket dimensions within! You wanna know why no one's ever explained how spidey sticks to walls? Because when you try he grows little hairs on his fingers.

Things in comics only get worste when you try to explain them man, just leave it be. That's my advice.

It's not always acceptable to leave out an explanation of how and why something happens just because it's in a comic book. For example Spider-man and his cosmic powers demanded an explanation of how he got those powers and why he got them. tying up loose ends is the job of the writers and if no explanation was given for certain events then they lose their merit. 😮‍💨

Haven't you said that Spidey can take it to hulk? Spidey doesn't qualify for those two conditionis either.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say hurt either, I think I said makes him react, you know like a ten year old punching you in the gut doesn't hurt (maybe you're a bad example for this let's use me instead) but still might make me react.

Spidey has beaten the hulk once. One time. Never again did he do much more than annoy the hulk. Conclusion- Spider-man could not beat the hulk and when he did it was contradictory to both characters. Even though it "happened" it can't be truly considered as evidence of Spidey's ability more than it can be used as evidence of a " This doesn't make ANY sense" scenario. Comics are not supposed to make " No sense at all" although sometimes that happens. The negative result is that an impossible scenario is used as proof to sustain some other impossible scenario. For example: Spidey beat hulk so he could give thor a hard time. Doesn't that sound foolish? Here's another: Wolverine got knocked out of orbit and wasn't injured! Excuse me. Unless there was less gravity or something like that then a strike powerful enough to do that would have exploded blood out of every orifice and totally destroyed every internal organ including his brain. Using that as an example of his durability is as ridiculous as Spidey hassling Thor. Wolverine's durability is limited to his skeletal structure and Spider-Man could kill him in more ways than breaking his neck. I'll even say I totally agree with the statement that his neck can't be broken because he has healed up from blows that left him unconscious and would have broken his neck if it could be. Powers need consistency to be given any merit. Remember when Spidey plugged his webbing into the wall to hold the thing? Ummm.. He can't do that here and get away with it. IMO 😮‍💨

Amen Mister....Myself as well as many others in the SM vs Cap/Wolvie/DD debate tried to bring this up many times...I finally got tired of using that argument and went with the historical "This one did this..this on did that.." argument like the other postees on the board. As you can see in this thread..that argument generally never gets anywhere because one can always come up with a PIS/CIS argument to counter it..

ok......hulk had to severly lay into wolverine to dislodge a single vertebre with tons of rage cause wolverine wasn't dying as it was.....spiderman doesn't have this kind of strength.....

whoops...forgot the pic....lol

whoops forgot it again...

ok here...mordu blasted the f*** out of wolvie....all the living flesh on him was desintegrated into .....well.....nothing actually. but look, the skeleton's still in one peice...

dammit...I forgot the pic again! errrrr

and hey....look....there it is again....still one peice of hunkin metal...

ok that said....my ability to cope with the ridiculousness of his skeleton isn't the issue here.....I know it's stupid...I've said it's stupid...I still don't get how his wrists bend.....I know how the human skeletal structure works....my mom worked in the medical feild since i could remember and had a lot of back issues while I was growing up....so I got my fair share of education on the subject....that aside, this IS how wolverine has been given to us.....whether it makes sense or not, that's how he's been presented.....the best way i can figure is it's like action figure knee joints you can hyper extend the knee but you can't really break it in minimal play....only through a large amount of force (not the best analogy I know)....Now THAT SAID spiderman doesn't have the force required to break adamantium and yes the only answer i can give you for that is "it's a comic" because there is no logical one to give....the real issue here is your inability to take the character how he has been dished out to you....I'm sorry but this is just the way it is.

oh and just for kicks.......lol

Jinzin..all of the stuff you posted was from what if storylines...

The first was from "What if hulk killed Wolverine"..and the other one was "What if Marvel Superheroes lost Inferno"...lol..nice try though...

credibability..sinking..... 😆 😆

ummmm i already said this was from what if story lines...but I'm making a point...which you have obviously missed.....think of days of future past.....logan was fried again but his skeletal structure remained......IN ONE PIECE....even prof X said it's bonded at a molecular level......damn...it's really not that hard to figure out what I'm trying to convey here....

the funny thing is.....wolverine's being uppercut 3 stories into the air....he's been hit so hard he reach escape volocity of the planet he was on....he's been sent flying for miles by hulk uppercuts...and his neck never broke...but for some reason spiderman had a chance in hell.......why is this exactly?

<<but for some reason spiderman had a chance in hell.......why is this exactly?>.

because wolvie said he could . . .

back into hiding . ..

no.....ummm how would would wolvie know?

<<no.....ummm how would would wolvie know?>>

maybe he looked at the same x-ray i did?

lol....doubtful.....he didn't even know his bones were fused.....I really don't know why this is so hard to understand....if his neck could be snapped backwards...anyone of those uppercuts or blows would have done so already....

ummm..no ya didn't..at least not on the two pages where you posted the pics....and you forgot to mention that Spidey was surrounded by like hundreds of demons, a demonized Gray Hulk, Sim, and a hell of a lot of other bad guys in that one What if storyline where Wolvie impales him...

Anyway...Wolverine's durability has been upgraded and downgraded soo many times..that it's really difficult to tell what the extent of it. At one time it was stated that severe internal injuries could kill him, and that he would not survive if his neck were broken. He's also been knocked down/out by a punch or kick from DD or Captain A. To the contrary, in another issue he's shown to laugh at punches from Hulk and Namor.

I'm going to use the Captain A and DD "historical references" as a basis for comparison in this battle. If Captain A could knock him out with a punch/kick/etc, then hypothetically SM should be able to do it much easier...that's my two cents...

okay....first off....when the hell did captain america do this?

second....Yes I did say they were from what if examples....when I first brought the examples up.....I just posted pics because it didn't seem like people were quite getting the fact that his skeleton is fused ( i dunno how it's "bonded" at a molecular level...and allowing him to move but it is).

third....I said the spiderman getting stabbed pic was just for kicks....just for spite.....to rile you spidey guys up......it certainly worked on getting you're panties in a wad......calm down man....stop taking everything at face value.....just breath....

fourth....sweet....so we're gonna use "historical" references despite your lack of issue numbers or pics....or anything......and count that against wolverine......while at the same time ignoring the 3 "historical" occasions that wolverine either stalemated or got the upper hand on spidey....lol..........YEAH RIGHT.......Wolverine never gets KOed by a normal guy unless....wait ya know what he almost never gets KOed period unless it's a cheap shot, or there's something already wrong with him....

Actually jinzin, If cap did knock out Wolvie I'd buy it, It's something a FIGHTER of his calibre is capable of. Unlike spidey who has no formal training and little knowledge of how to properly distribute punishment. After all it is one of the main reasons Wolvie is such a devastating opponent to Spidey.
