But there are def. examples of Spidey owning almost everyone, and him getting beat or having trouble with a few guys you think he should take. But honestly I think these are continuity issues. Do you remember the issue where spidey's roommate steals his costume, is captured by Kraven the Hunters daughter and then Spidey goes to Save him and has trouble with that rat creature. That was so weak. Still you have to realized that Marvel has revamped Hammerhead, read some articles about that arc from the author, he has basically trying to make hammerhead totally bad@$$ and scary. Therefore, this is not the hammerhead of old he has been augmented to be much stronger. So until Wolvie fights the new hammerhead jury is still out. I bet he would give wolverine a run for his money. Also that being said writers are getting lazy so they are dragging all of Spidey's old enemies back, thanks to one more day(such bs!!!!).

Also Spidey ends up beating HH in the end so it does not matter. And 2 HH has to be stronger that Wolverine, you think Wolverine could do all that to Spider-man. No way! Just from the fight you can gauge that HH is physically (muscle wise) is stronger than wolverine. He is also heavier/weighs more.

look Wolverine has lost to Cyclops and would lose to Cyclops. While Spider-man would own Cyclops with his skill and strength. Wolverine gets owned by Juggernaut. While Spider-man has not.

Both times Wolverine "lost" to Cyclops there where extenuating circumstances... and Juggy would own Spidy.
