Spidey noticed that Logan was "working" too hard as a superhero and decided to talk to him.

It's always featureless environment unless OP states otherwise.

jumping, sticking on trees, etc....
better manuverability than Logan
Spidey would cut himself with all those branches, make too much noise, he'd be way too clumsy in a forest. He's no Tarzan. While Logan moves without making a sound, stays practically invisible... it's his element.
Better maneuverability in the city setting sure, but not in the damn forest...

nah.. if the spider stayed on top at the very peak of the tree he be save.. its what cats and small birds do.. although not very brave of the spider
One swipe is all it takes to cut the tree down.

underestimation IMO.
He's no rookie and Wolvie moving silently would mean nothing to someone with danger sence.

wolverine wouldnt trash the trees just to get to parker 1 maybe 3 tops but he wont decimate the forest for parker.. he's spiritual like that.
I dunno, Logan's killed many trees in his career... what's one more tear in the ocean? biscuits

Stealth helps a lot. SS detects opponents with a various degree of success, depending on their skills in that department. For example, a random thug wouldn't be able to get a drop on him, but Silver Samurai did. SS warned Parker too late and he couldn't react in time. Besides, he's been surprise attacked a gazillion times and you can't ignore that.

I'd say the times SS was successful are fairely more than the times it didn't but anyway the setting is not a forest so...

Spider sense having trouble detecting stealth should count as low showing. Makes about as much sense as Wolverine not hearing a rhino charging at him. Its just some writers dont bother to read other SM books before writing.
Its sensitivity fluctuates. It only makes sense that Parker'd get warned about some yelling thug faster than about some ninja.
