Parker IS consistently portrayed as having trouble with various martial artists, from fodder ones to experts. Take away Logan's powers, claws and adamantium and it'll still be a fight.

Last time Wolverine fought ninjas he got stabbed like 800 times. Happens every time. Spider-man takes on dozens of them (sometimes hundreds) without getting a single scratch.

Logan can't even take on a bunch of hillbillies without getting mortally wounded six times over. They gave him a free shot too.
