Wolverine had Squirrel Girl in an armlock... that's the closet anyone has come to beating her. Luckily her fearsome squirrels shows up so he back down. Wolverine knows whats up, those things can beat Thanos.

One was a fight. One was a training match. Shang probably doesn't count that as a fight. /shrug

Shang definitely didn't count that as a fight. Only a lesson.

Oh no, it wasn't a fight. It was a lesson that Wolverine tried, and failed, to avoid taking.. 😄

My earlier comments about how they both can't be "first times" was more about how their chronologically later meeting has them acting like they've never met before.
