Dude, that trailer looks pretty damn terrible. Diddnt we all get the point from the original Charlie and the Chocolate factory? I know Depp is a good actor, but there is no way in hell that he will replace wilder, and Burton is defaintly not going to out do, or express charlie and the chocolate factory in a more entertaining way. I thought Burton learned his lesson with remakes after Planet of the Apes...i guess not. I love how he said that planet of the apes was not a remake, and either is charlie.

The trailer does look cat in the hattish I have to admit but I still think it looks good.It's not going to be released until around next summer so I think that version of the trailer was just released to keep people happy.

'Charlie and the chocolate factory' isn't really a remake it's more of a closer adaptation of the book, where as the the Gene wilder version 'Willy wonka and the chocolate factory' wasn't. So they will be different in some ways and I'm glad that it's Burton thats doing it. Everyones allowed one mistake and planet of the apes was his.

I absolutely want to see it!

This movie looks dumb. I don't think they can match Gene Wylder's portrayal.

Wow. Do you know about anything before you speak? Tim Burton doesn't only make scary movies. Have you seen Big Fish? Great movie, not dark AT ALL. And Nighmare Before Christmas was a dark comedy, not scary at all either.

Well, this movie is scary Burton at work though. I'll see it.
