I've noticed a lack of decorations outside in a lot of neighborhoods.

Is this a new trend or is it every year and I just haven't noticed until now?

Agreed, with multiple days in holiday weekend people should utilize them all rather than push for the big day for events.

I got my brother to go to one dinner for me, as long as someone in my branch of the family shows up it counts.

I can't take my Aunt's cooking, vegan food is ok but not when untalented people try to make it.
