Depends what you mean. On a very basic level, you can throw them between the battlements.

i mean big rocks that can squash multiple targets, shields or no shields. definitely not the type i'd be able to lift over a battlement..not without so pullies system anyway 🙂

OK well this tactic leaves the sides vunerable right?
So I want the front tower archers to fire at the sides of the Orc formation.
Where are Argentis and I positioned? Above the Orc formation or level with it?

I guess it depends on how wide the rows of orcs are...

Baranar's men at the gatehouse, however, have an interesting wooden slide mechanism that they are about to start using.

They are kind of vulnerable from the side, but it is an awkward shot to hit the ones that are actually doing the battering.

Argentis, an arrow pings into the battlement by your side, sending a stone flint that cuts across your face, for five damage.

Another of Baranar's men is caught and goes down.

CURRENT SITUATION

All Fortress walls are secure

Northern Wall: 96 strong Orc force attacking gate house. 19 archers giving fire.

All other walls clear

Orc casualties: 4

Allied casualties: 2

Not the point.
If we shoot the people protecting them we can hit the attacking orcs.
Can I get a shot at the side?

Im thinking of trying to distract the Orcs leaving them exposed.

It is for sending rocks into the orc formations. It allows you to load the rocks safe from enemy fire, roll them down the slide, off over the walls, and down below.

Everyone I am going to try and pull something. I am going to try and blind the archers so you can fire without harm. So everyone wait untill the order to fire!!
