Loud noises start reverberating throughout the fortress- the sounds of heavy axes striking the front gates.

A rock is being hoisted up to the slide...

There is movement from the sides. Small bands of Orcs are moving forwards, not in formation.

Are they attacking from a side near me?

no peasents at all ? I could find a few at least...but even if I do even if I don't I move some carts full of straws ( in any castle I can find those ) and try to put them in the hole of the gatehouse, rip their wheels and position them near the gate.I think if they will break the gate and go in we can light those carts and make a great fire so it will slow them down a bit or somethin'.After that I go at my position and shoot some orcs..

ok I wanna project a blinding bust of light at the orcs in such a way that the castle people will not be blinded, maybe to the side and slightly below?

Corlindel watches a small band of orcs moving to the right walls. He has his bow prepared so Corlindel shots an arrow to the closer orc who seems to be the leader aiming his vulnerable neck, and loads again behind the battlement while he shouts to Baranar men on the right wall..."Kill that beasts"

53, Corlindel. Bit wide.

The small Orc parties are 20 strong each, with two ladders a-piece.

I am afraid you won't really blind them, Palidan. Certainly not at this range.

Those of us that can melee should head to the probable locations where the orcs will try to climb using the ladders.

Corlindel shots again aiming the closer orc and then runs to the right wall to where the orcs will try to climb - Corlindel was on the tower.

Archers follow the Melee and shoot the Orcs carrying the ladders!

Well...then Palanfirith runs back to his position and fires in the nearest ladder carrier orc

vardalain shoots towards an orc carrying a ladder.
where are the guys with the hooks repelling the ladders...i thought someone mentioned them earlier.

They cannot do much until the Orcs actually start climbing, can they?

So you are shifting your attention to the sides, Vardalain?

Andromir also shoots an arrow at one of the orcs coming from the sides

I figure it's not really all that important to kill the ones carrying the ladders specifically since any orc can pick the ladder up later anyway.
