(I'll do my best but he called me a liar he shouldn't have done that, and this was Argentis in a very calm moment, I backed away from the fight.)

Also, Fire:

No-one lives in the Downs, so there is no-one else to worry about. Gorlim's comment that there is nothing here for the Orcs would appear to be true.

And you are in Cardolan.

Marakith will likely throw that report away.

(Then he will I don't know that 🙂 and if the orcs were here they could also reach a more cived area where people do live. and even there is nothing for them here that's in my mind even a bigger reason to be worried)

Well, that should be something that is occurring to you differently, Argentis.

Because from what you were told, it was Baronar itself that kept these lands secure.

Of course, Baronar doesn't patrol the Downs- why bother? There is nothing there.

And he didn't call you a liar- he just didn't agree with your assessment.

(okie came close tho anywayz doesn't matter Argentis is calm, don't worrie it's all forgotten atleast from my part)

Just to worsen everyone's spirits at this point- it starts to rain. Well, it has been a gloomy day...

Aiwendil, you shiver again. You in particular feel worse than the others.

(bastard)

The rain starts to get heavy very quickly- and you hear a distant rumble of thunder.

"Tents up, tents up!" says Gorlim. People start getting to work.

"I'm already tense..." remarks one solider, drily.

Starts helping

Aiwendil was struggling. Her mind was foggy, and her body would not respond to her commands.

((byebye for now, time for tea!!!))

Anii helped set up the tents. She whistled and Amon flew beside her. He started cawwing and screeching. Anii nodded and searched out Anglomir.
"Sir, there is a group of unidentified creatures, moving away from here, going that-a-way. Amon didn't want to get to close incase it was something unfriendly to hawks."

"As long as they are moving away, it doesn't bother me..." Anglomir says, finishing up with his tent. The sounds of rain pattering on armor and shields fills his ears, as well as the booming thunder and Amon's screeching. "Thank the gods I don't have Elvish hearing...this would be even louder..."

It's going be be a cold, wet, miserable night. I believe Anglomir volunteered for first watch, yes? You're up, bud...

Your turn to meditate tonight, Aiwendil. But it feels all wrong and you cannot get comfortable.

There is a distant flash of light and some thunder.

Aniica nodded and walked to her tent. She knew she'd get no rest, this night. Her elvish ears heard thunder rolling and heard the unheard. She sighed. This would be a long night...... She hummed softly to herself, the elvish songs her mother had taught her.

Anglomir sits on a stool unhappily, his sword in hand. He starts drawing in the mud with the tip of it, bored to death. He hummed the Gondor national anthem, still bored.

There is the most ENORMOUS clap of thunder.

And as one, making a tumultuous noise, the horses break their tethers and bolt from the camp- tearing a tent down as they go.

"Oh f***," Anglomir says. "Damn this lightning! Damn it all!" Anglomir calls out. "Alert! Alert! The horses have broken their tethers! All men awake!" He starts banging loudly on his armor to wake up anyone asleep.

As you run through the lashing rain, there is another bolt of lightning, Anglomir- and you see three, tall armoued figures silhouetted on the top of the nearest Down.

"What the..." Anglomir holds his sword out in front of him, taking his shield from his back. He hollers again, edging closer. "Get the horses! Quickly! Don't let them get away!"
