(hmm..😕...mortal life...kinda remembers me about Arwen..a bit too much I think😉.I don't think u're a too important elf so Elrond would care about u're needs as middle earth itselfs requires his attention.maybe he'll make ya mortal after 😉)

{FITCH..have you read my background...Ush already knows. My char's MOTHER was a relative of Elrond's. And Arwen is a distant cousin of Eliara's. you need to read my background!! 😠 I know it is similiar...but she is the same kind of elf as Arwen and that is where I kinda based my character from!!!! She is NOT Arwen though. I wrote in my background that Eliara and Arwen trained together in archery.....etc.....I did tell Ush that I would announce which she would be at the conference....b/c for my character it's a BIG DEAL. She wants to avenge her father's death..not run off and marry someone!!! 😠 READ MY BACKGROUND before you bash my character! Elrond took Eliara in after her mother and father died in the war. Her mom was hit with a twisted spell and Elrond couldn't save her, thus he took me in under his wing.....ya know!!}

(Chill both of you, AirAngel Fitch is entitled to his opinion on your character, Fitch you could have said it with a bit more tact)

{😮 I'm sorry.....I just get angry when people don't look into things. I know he did have a point.........SORRY for yelling!!! It's not like she's going to become queen or anything and its Ush's say on what's important and not..since he control's Elrond!!! I had PRE-TALKED this over with Ush..weeeeeeeeeeeks ago!} {sorry.........}

(really happy for you,nice character you got there 😄.my bad....but I was close with the arwen thing 😄.still didn't understand why you wanna give up the immortality,as you can fight with it quite good,that was all my question.)

(good everythings cool now)

(😄 Thanx......well b/c her father..(have to look this up) was in a war..a mortal one...and for her to go and fight that war then she would have to become mortal............or she would stay in Rivendell for that war)....😄(yes you were close.... 😄 it's not like LOTR has a bunch of females to base char's on ...or get ideas from..........I liked the half-elf thing)

(ahem..what ficth was probabbly trying to say is that you babble outside of the point too much 😛...
who really cares about mothers and..sisters..backgrounds..bla bla....)

(whatever......)

It's going to be one of tbose days... Elrond is thinking to himself.

"Palanfirith," he says, "right now at this moment is not the time to discuss such things. Assembled here are the representatives of all the Elven settlements in Middle-Earth. Not all of them have the time to care about a fort in Cardolan, and many more who would care would not understand me talking of it until they are sure of the situation in general. You forget that while you have spent a year in the realm of Man and understand much, many of those here have no such experience. And whilst your travels are one thing of importance at this meeting, it is only one thing of many so please may I have your peace?

Eliara... that is not a decision to be taken lightly. If that is the path you set for yourself, then it is not for I to disagree. But before you give yourself to a mortal life, my advice would be for you to spend time with the mortals first, to see what you would be giving yourself.

Now, if I may continue?

Of Gondor this age has already seen many trials and tribulations- civil war, the Great Plague, invasion by the Wainriders; these are all evils but they do not concern us at this time. Our attention is focussed on Arnor.

Arnor was a great realm; it stretched from Mithlond in the West to here, Imladris; from North it went almost to the northern shores of Middle-Earth, down to Tharbad in the south halfway between here and Isengard. Annuminas was a great city, and the realm as a whole was the greater part of Elendil's and Isildur's legacy. The King was a direct descendant from Isildur, and unlike Gondor the Dunadain line has been kept pure. In my foolish eyes, I saw Arnor as the place of greater hope for Men. I was wrong.

Some eight and a half centuries later, after the death of King Earendur, there was an argument of accession between his sons. Despite the best efforts of any of us, this split could not be healed, and all three sons took the throne. Arnor became split in three. There was Rhuadur, in the North East, which we here in Imladris are inside of. Cardolan in the South, stretching down to Tharbad. And in the Northwest, Arthedain, perhaps the true Kingdom, with the more direct line, encompassing Annuminas and stetching over to Mithlond. It was perhaps symbolic of the split that Elendil's city, Annuminas, fell out of use; the capital in Arthedain became the nearby town- and now city- of Fornost-Erain.

The split was a disaster. I could only watch with shock and dismay as thr three Realms started to squabble with each other over territory, especially the ownership of the Tower-fortress at Amon Sul, or Weathertop. They started to fight skirmishes, and then even small wars with each other.

But if only that had been the extent of all they had faced, all might have been well. But dark things started to take advantage of the situation. Some five centuries ater the split, the realm of Angmar was formed, in the mountains to the north-ast of Rhudaur. It is a place of total evil. No good-hearted beings live there. It borders the mountain realms of the Orcs, and beings in seemingly endless amounts of their numbers, and digs deep to find gold and gems to fund its efforts. Angmar is a blighted mountain wasteland of Orcs, Trolls- and worse. And at its head, the so-called 'Witch-King', a being of great power and evil about which we do not yet know much. And this Kingdom was able to be founded in secret, as evil grew in the Misty Mountains, as Arnor was too busy fighting itself to notice."

Meanwhile, at Baranar...

"Well," he says, "the situation in Cardolan is only growing worse. Since the Witch-King began his latest efforts to destroy all that remains of Arnor, things have been falling apart more and more. Cardolan itself is in no position to resist. All it is now is a loose confederation of competing Lords, many of which would seem themselves as great rulers, but all really united by only one thing- a distrust of any who come from Arthedain.

Of course, it is precisely because Cardolan cannot resist that it still survives. The Witch-King presumably thinks he did his work here centuries ago. He concentrates now on Arthedain, and his armies are far to the Nirth of here. Yet that has not spared my countrymen; endless raiding parties of Orcs and Dunlendings roam unchecked throughout the east of Cardolan; villages and towns are burnt and destroyed. Refugees are pouring west; both to safer parts of Cardolan and into Arthedain. In fact," he says, turning to Anglomir and Talin and the other veterans, "I believe you encountered one such group of refugees on your journey to Fornost [i.e. the first part of this game]."

Eliara took his words with great seriousness and she sat in her own thoughts.

yep..yep..go on

Corlindel listened Elrond words to Planfirith and remembering Cirdan word when Corlindel left Mthlond, he is thinking deeply what would be the best solution for Middle-Earth. He knows that after the fall of Arthedain, Mithlond shall be the next step to West of The Wich-King. Corlindel is ready to do what the experimented members of the council will decide, but if was Corlindel to decide, w.ar will be the right choice for him.

Eliara was pondering about mortals.

"So, Master Elrond, if I am to spend some time with humans where shall I go? Shall I stay here, I would think not." Eliara said to Elrond.

She always took his words to heart, for he has been like a guardian to her for many, many, many long years. She always looked up to him.

"Much is to be decided about who may go where this day, young Eliara," says Elrond. "We shall see where people's hearts lead them."

Eliara nodded and was once again lost in her thoughts..........

It would be nice to have an adventure, yet I love this land. I dread the day the war comes. Shall I fight for my home and stay here in Rivendell, or shall I fight for my parents' avengence....? Either path leads to war.

"Then we must convince all the lords in Cardolan that Arthedain can be trusted to help with the defence of their land. I'm sure your words could go a long way to the forging of this alliance, Lord Baranar." says Andromir.

"what is to be done,lord elrond ? " says Palanfirith.

"Corlindel from Mithlond is ready to fight for the future of Middle-Earth when you decide to, Master Elrond" Corlindel said.

" The war will reach the western boarders of Mithlond soon if the free people of Middle-Earth stays quiet without anykind of reaction and by the long talks of my master Cirdan and the wise Mithrandir, I think the Witch-King will not stop there and he will try to reign all over Middle-Earth"
Wiser Master Elrond: I think we shall do something as soon as possible. We can not wait for the fallen of Anor to react"
