Unsupported statement? 😆 Please! Once again your arguement is : "There is evidence Hermoine has feelings of Harry." You COMPLETELY dodge the issue of whether HARRY likes HERMOINE. All I have seen from your arguements and nearly every single H/Hr on this board has emphasized on Hermoine's feelings for Harry and her incompatability with Ron. Nothing else. Just useless speculation on how Hermoine is meant for Harry.

Do this Dark1365:

Don't tell us your "evidence" for why Hermoine likes Harry and not Ron. TELL US WHY HARRY HAS FEELINGS FOR HERMOINE. The core issue that you and most H/Hr fanatics have completely ignored, dodged or shielded themselves from.

I think you will be hard-pressed to find them.

Why does Harry have feelings for Hermoine? Let's see...

-She saves his life dozens of times.
-She gets him out of trouble whenever the teachers accuse him of wrongdoing.
-She comforts him everytime he has problems.
-She defends him whenever people (such as Draco Malfoy) talk trash about him.
-Her intelligeance helps him solve mysteries.
and
-She knows more about him than he knows himself.

If situations like the ones I've listed can make a woman fall in love with a man, than it can also make a man do the same with the woman such as Harry being in love with Hermoine.

Does this sound like a girlfriend or love interest? No. It sounds like what is: a friggin sidekick.

"Oh Hermoine you so smart and helpful! I've suddenly falled in love with you!"

Oooooooook.

You haven't proved ANYTHING.

lol I think its going to be ron and hermione they act awkward around each other because they are nervous where as harry and hermione are just close mates and there is no awkwardness

Ron and Hermione have been fighting since they were 11. They could hardly have been in love since then. Their relationship has gone nowhere.

Harry and Hermione grow closer with each sucessive book. If they continue to do so, love is the logical next step.

Only in your dreams. Why people are deluding themselves is beyond me.

I personally think it has to do with Emma Watson.

Anyhoo. The sixth book is coming out this summer. I'm willing to lay down EVERYTHING I have to say that Ron will end up with Hermoine. And Harry will end up with Ginny (*shudders*) or Luna (Eh).

I shipped H/Hr from when I read the first book, before the movies ever came out.

I shipped R/Hr (I HONESTLY don't care however it bugs me that JK Rowlings has laid down every single clue possible for their upcoming romance and people REFUSE to acknowledge it) when I read the first book too.

I personally think this H/Hr craze began to escalate with the movies. Daniel and Emma admittedly look good together. Beautiful even. Rupert and Emma don't look good together. It explains why so many people have movie pictures as "proof".

Actually, no. I don't think you've noticed, but Ron and Hermione's bickering throughout the books has become more like flirting in a way, and they don't argue as much as they did in the first book.

Actually, in real life Dan and Emma look better, but even in the movies, Ron and Hermione would be a better couple. They have a lot more clues of Ron and Hermione liking eachother than Harry and Hermione liking eachother in the movies. as a matter of fact, Harry and Hermione only seem to be close friends in the movie, as well. And they seem to show the clues real early. JK Rowling even said in an interview that the filmmakers put some different clues in the movie that she didn't show 'til the fourth book. There are even people I know who've never read the books but seen the movies who asked me if Ron likes Hermione because it seems that way in the movie. I usually just tell them that it seems that way in the books, too. by the way, people refusing to acknowledge the fact that Ron and Hermione like eachother bugs me, too. as a matter of fact, it bugs me beyond belief. And you're definitely right about the pictures as being "proof" thing.

um, what if it doesn't happen until the seventh one?

I have to disagree with all of you. I just don't see any change. THey are arguing in the same way over the same types of things.

I do not believe that R/Hr will happen, and even if it does I won't ship it. I love H/Hr, it's exactly what I want in a relationship, it's healthy, and they are the best suited for each other.

Ship it? You mean fan-fiction? You could have said the same thing about Lily and James. They're Ron and Hermoine of the past.

each to their own i guess lol

Lily and James are nothing like ROn and Hermione. The way the argued was not from a personality clash. They argued because they couldn't stand each other. Later, when they got to know each other, they mellowed out. There is no evidence whatsoever of Ron and Hermione doing this.
Shipping refers to wanting or believing a ship will happen in canon or fanon. It isn't just a fanon thing, at least on all the other HP sites I am a member of.

Well Harry and Hermione definitely don't yell at each other the way Harry's parents did at all. so they're not even close to what Lily and James were like. plus the fact that Lily and James didn't mellow out 'til the sixth or seventh year or something like that. And as I said before, Ron and Hermione's bickering is starting to turn into more like flirting, so the same thing'll probably happen to them that it did Harry's parents. so, in a way, Lily and James sort of are the Ron and Hermione of the past.

Lily and James didn't know each other when they were yelling at each other. Ron and Hermione did, quite well. Lily and James got to know each other and then liked each other. Ron and Hermione have known each other five years and don't like each other in a romantic way. So Lily and James are NOT like Ron and Hermione from the past

Yes. That is just what I was going to say. Ron and Hermione know each other, and they haven't changed.

Where do you see that they are becoming more flirty? I just can't see any change in their arguements. They argue about values, the things that are most important to them. They argue in the same way, rather nastily.
