meh at least the movie is coming out I am used to Kadaj's englush voice and JKozzy you are right if I didnt see tha jp version my oppinion would probably be very very diffrent. But well I think they rusehd it because of us asking 100000 times when it was coming out

I think its more like they had no intention of converting it to english at first.. then decided it could be somewhat profitable at the last minute

Saw it finally... visually very nice... though i was left feeling a little disappointed... i was expecting more... not in any area particularly... just... more... 😬

I was under the impression that fans prefer japanese w/ subtitles over half-assed english dubs 😮

I know I'd like to see a Movie in English also.

It'd cause me to miss half of what's going on if I'm reading the entire time.

I will be watching the Japanese version though after I've watched the English version at least once.

I have no intention of watching it subbed! i'm what my mother calls one of those people who can read and watch plus comprehend at the same time. I think that's the only way to fully appreciate + understand foreign films!

Though, I did enjoy Distance. The deleted scenes really weren't 'deleted scenes' by standard definition, just alternated cuts and dialogue. Trailers were cool. Venice film was cool. But... there can be so much more.

I've only seen one trailer for this DVD on tv so far and the price was much lower than I thought it would be.
And the price tag wasn't even up for it, and it didn't take up much shelf space.

When I went to GameStop at 6:30 last night, they had two copies left that were unreserved; I think they got 100-150 copies. They flew off shelves around here.

I think it's obvious more effort was put into the Japanese voices, though I'm glad the dub is there so I could fully enjoy the visuals. Certainly the most visually appealing movie I've ever seen. The plot wasn't much, but it didn't have to be. We already played the game for 60+ hours, this was merely a fanservice, as BackFire said. An awesome one, at that. The wait was worth it.

I did get mine from Walmart, so maybe that's why. And plus it's a week day so kids are in school.

I don't know.

But at least you say it's worth the wait.
