Final Fantasy 7 : Advent Children (Movie)

got my copies yesterday last copie at the store and I am happy with the Jap voices well at least on the second disk the Vinnec footage was that japanies version from what I saw

funny thing was they left the last copies for reserve so anyone could get there greasy mits on it

extras were so-so, the little summary of the game had sentimental value though...

The summary of the game could have been so much better.

it was sold out at the walmart here so i couldn't get it, but then theres only two places to get it here where i live

Hey guys i was never a fan of the Final fantasy games but the movie advent children does look good. i was wondering if i could just watch it without ever having played the games?

Yeah I think you could, I made my friend watch it an she never played them either but she loved it. In the english dvd there is a summary of the game so that would help too! So yes! 🙂

Supposedly its already out cause i have friends who have seen it! They said it was nothing less then amazing. I really want to/need to watch it! 😄 😎

If you want to or are able to, play the game first. But you should've been doing that while you were waiting for the movie to come out for three-four years.

Watched it.

Loved the uber quick fighting scenes , sword fights, general gun-play , Bahamut sin and the revised Advent 😮ne wing Angel with the guitar in it, adds some extra bad-ass....

I just saw it and I had little to know idea what was going on.

I never played the game, but a freind of mine told me about the story and I still basicly had no idea.

Also, I hated the ending.

Shame you didn't like it Grimm22. The story can get really confusing if someone tells it to you though. Probably made it less enjoying for you too. Oh well.

Hmm... well I reserved my copy and picked it up as soon as they called me that it was gonna be in...Although i saw it before I loved seeing the behind the scene and extras...
true you wouldn't really get it without playing the game but you could enjoy it! I mean i NEVER played the game nor really watched my brother play it but I got the whle story line just by going online doing a little research and watching tidbits of the MV's between the game with my brother. You don't have to play it to get it! although it'd really help if you understood the lifestream and how everyone connected to it!

I picked it up yesterday.. its not as bad as I was expecting it to be (the voices I mean)... even though some of aeris' dialogue was awkward.. I think she did it aiight...the major area I thought work needed to be done.. was the emotive part of the voice acting... grunting.. yelling.. screaming and so on.. the japanese side to that was very energetic.. I didnt feel that from the english VA's.. the lip synch was also a thorn in my side.. but whatever.. -_-
