USH'S GAME EPISODE V- 'MAUSOLEUM'- DARK SIDE AREA

they might either be powered by something (the something we need) or...a genetic blood line...from ancient siths....but the first one seems more plausible.

All thirty or forty of them seem to be abel to use the Force, Takuan. You have never seen anything like it.

Even more disturbing- they do not understand when you ask if they can use it or not.

"Have you worked it out yet?" asks Kuylen.

"is there ONE of them who CAN't use it, i wonder. Tell, me shi'haia. are there any among you who cannot lift small stones like you can?" asks Takuan

"either way....their number is too great. I smell the mausoleum in this, or someone closely connected to it. maybe they use it as a preying place..i'll think about it"

"Of course not," says Shi'haia. "EVERYONE can do that!"

Kuylen smiles.

"It is ALL of them," he says. "Every single being on this planet can use the Force. ALL OF THEM. It is perhaps the greatest wonder the Force ever produced. And all they need, Takuan, is a leader.

"Think of it. There are a billion people on this planet., Even if we only recruit one in TEN THOUSAND, we will have an army ten times the size of the Jedi Order! We will crush them on the first day. And we shall recruit more, far more. The Force IS with us- see how they come!

"Little wonder the Jedi long ago took this world off-limits. It was too dangerous for anyone. Even a Jedi. This kind of power would corrupt any one of them. A Jedi who came here would rule the Galaxy. Well. The silence on this world is over. We are here now. The Jedi have failed."

"Every last one of them?" Galder says in awe. "But, how? By mere chance?" Galder shakes his head. "What am I saying, who cares! We're going to have an army of Force-users behind us! We are going to massacre the Republic with one swift blow!"

"I thought we would secure the Mausoleum FIRST, Kuylen," says Saar.

"Oh, whatever, can't we just get oin with things?" moans Jolanta.

"There is no need," says Kuylen. "I didn't think they would come until after we ha taken the Mausoleum but there are far more desperate than I aimagined. They have been uncomtaminated for too long."

"Why not stick to the original plan?" asks Saar.

"Because it involved half of us dying storming the central buildings," says Kuylen. There is a long silence. "But now there is no need," he says. "In any case, all we will do anyway is waste time waiting for the moment to strike. Instead, we can do that part of the plan now whilst we wait; gather your forces."

And that is exactly what Kuylen wants you to do. There is no longer a commando misison- it is going to be a war.

As Kuylen explains it, this will only be achievable with discipline. "Kill anyone who causes trouble," he says. "They must learn how it works."

Kuylen is the General, each of you is a Captain. By the time the day is out each of you will have fifty beings under your command, each led by one of the Ruling Council, with a lightsabre.

I need you to define your Lieutenant, his name, attitude, and how you want to teach him; he will listen to you absolutely. Your mini-armies will be your own, loyal to you, as you are loyal to Kuylen.

You may also ask them any questions you like.

"The authorities must know we are here by now," says Kuylen. "But we will take this city by force if we have to."

Everything just went up a notch in scale...

The other Dark Siders controlled by me will have their mini-armies too, of course...

Sadly, even if you could teach them in time- which you cannot- there is no way to make lightsabres and Kuylen vetoes issuing the ones you have- only the Lieutenants will be sabre-equipped.

"Thank you, General Kuylen," Galder says to his mentor as he is awarded the title of Captain and given his fifty soldiers and his Leiutenant, bowing. "I will do my best to teach them." Galder then turns to view his soldiers. "Now this is what I've been waiting for..." he mutters to himself before approaching them. He begins speaking to them.

"All of you will now take orders from me, and me alone. Other than General Kuylen, of course. In case of emergency, the other Captains may take control of you, but ultimately, I am your Captain. I am Captain Galder Rexus Welptet. I am good with weaponry and lightsabers, much better than any of you, to be certain. But, if you obey my orders and do my will, you will improve and receive the power you so badly desire. If you do not do as I require, the penalty is death, and I will be your executioner if need be. It is how I was taught, and it is how you will be taught. The General forbids me to give you lightsabers, so only my Leiutenant and I will be wielding them. In time, you may be taught to wield one, but we shall see. I can be your leader or I can be your executioner, it is your choice. I am sure we all prefer the first, am I right?" He grins and turns his back on them, turning to his Leiutenant.

My Leiutenant's Profile:

Name: Leiutenant Gar'Veran
Species: Zeitonian
Lightsaber: Red Blade
Attitude: Tough & rough, like his mentor
Taught to be a: Corsair

"Leiutentant Gar'Veran, are you ready for a few lessons in using a lightsaber?" Galder asks. "Not only do you need pointers, I am sure, but it would be entertaining for the soldiers. Do not worry, I will not maim or kill you."

Wraith also bows as he is awarded the title of Captain. Saying nothing, he walks to his troops.

"I am Captain Bion Velcrose, but you may call me Captain Wraith. I am your commander now, and I can lead you to power, or you can die for failure. Just wanted to let you know the basics..." Wraith says, turning away from them.

My leiutenant:

Name: Leiutenant Zahn'Tin
Species: Zeitonian
Lightsaber: Purple Blade
Attitude: Somewhat cowardly
Taught to be a(n) Executor

"So, Leiutenant, I will probably let you borrow one of my lightsabers so you can train with two at once, but I am quite interested in where the one you are currently in possession of. Where did it come from? What are the supposed myths about it and the Jedi and the Sith?"

ooh..ooh..after school..i'll write it.

I am afraid none of them have purple blades, Wraith, so you will have to define it again.

Some of them DO have red though, Galder. More than that- it is a genuine Sith sabre.

The others have blue or green Jedi sabres; all old, but in good condition.

Your Lieutenants will be somewhat customised to yourselves, of course.

"Absolutely, sir," says Gar'Veran to you, Galder. "And do not think I shall shed a tear [if evolved frogs cry, I dunno...] for any of them that disobey."

His sabre skills aren't up to scratch, Galder. He's ok but not great. It's not surprising- these people have no great idea of sophisticated lightsabre combat. If there ever was a tradition of sabre combat here once there isn't now.

Zahn'Tin explains that his sabre is a mark of office he received from his predecessor when he was elected. As far as he knows they have been passed down since time immemorial.

As for the Jedi and the Sith, he says that as far as he knew they were an subversive myth about the moral salvation or damnation of the Zeitonian people related to the so-called curse of their powers, back in the equally mythological days when the Zeitonians lived on the surface of their planet.

"The Legend goes that the weak Jedi who tried to subvert us were eliminated by the powerful Sith under a man named Demnos. But the myths are a bit vague about what happened next. I always thought it was nonsense but... it is all true, isn't it?"

Name: Tik'Peebo (first to cross my mind)
saber: blue
attitude: not especially daring, but witty.
I think those are the important details..

by the way..am i even fit to train him in saber combat? i can handle the force part ofcourse..but... i wonder if i even know how to fight better than them 🙂

Yes, these people have a duelling score of zero. Which is better than negative...

okay..it'll be a nice experience.

An equivalent of a 12 in Matrix, that is... it's on the same scale (1 is a 13, 2 is a 14...)

Kuylen has been conversing with Shi'Haia.

"Yes, Demnos," the frog says, "the legendary leader of the Sith... has he returned?"

"Not exactly," says Kuylen. "You do not know where his Mausoleum his? His last resting place?"

"Mausoleum?"

Kuylen sighs.

"Never mind..."

"Shedding tears for the weak is a crime. I am glad you see it my way," Galder says. "May I see your lightsaber for a second?"

He ignites the blade, seeing the red glow. "This, Gar'Veran, is a genuine Sith lightsaber. The Sith were powerful. That is what we plan to be." He handed Gar'Veran back his lightsaber after turning it off.

"Ready to practice a bit of swordplay, then?"

Name: Leiutenant Zahn'Tin
Species: Zeitonian
Lightsaber: Blue Blade
Attitude: Somewhat cowardly
Taught to be a(n) Executor

There we go...

"Indeed, they are true. Demnos, or Darth Demnos, as we know him, was a powerful Sith Lord a millenia ago. He built what we call a Mausoleum, or burial tomb where they put his body once he died. We are here to search for that. It is what will bring us our power."

As Wraith talks with Zahn'Tin, he goes to check out the Leiutenants working for Saar, Chion, Jolanta, and Rura.

(more than a milennia ago)

Jolanta has a female engineer named Tara'Zie. Saar, you cannot find. Chion appears to be not doing much, and Rura you have not seen... in a long time, actually. He wasn't on the ship.

"Hey Chion, are you going to get a Leiutenant or not?" Wraith says with a shove. He then moves to Kuylen.

"Master Kuylen, where is Saar and Rura?" Wraith asks his mentor. "I don't think Rura was on the ship."

"I work better alone," says Chion. An event- he rarely says a thing.

"Saar is talking to his people in private," says Kuylen. "Rura did not come with us.!
