😛 Fantasy stuff is fun to write and read, but the characters need to be as real as possible (like have raw emotions and actions) to balance it all out. The sprinkle of insanity and real feelings keep it interesting and makes it believable.

Cheese Nips are the type of snack you start to munch on....

...and then it's an hour later, half the box is gone, and you didn't even realize you ate that much. Addictive as all hell.

I hit a point where my story is pretty much writing itself - I had two minor characters who were meant to be all nice and help out the main character. They decided they'd rather be evil and try and hold her for ransom.

Definitely going a lot more interestingly (is that a word?) than my original plan!

If it wasn't a word before, it is now 😛

Heh, I'm just about at 11.5k at the moment...it's weird, because it seems like it's a lot. But once you go back and look at it, it seems like a lot less than it really is.

I'm trying for 15k by the end of they day. Doubt I'll hit it, but hey. May as well try.

Almost 9K. ...not quite the 10K mark I set for myself, but good nonetheless.

Oh, and I won't be hitting 50K in November. No freaking way. My schedule gets insane the next few weeks.

But I'm still plugging away because I'd like to finish it this winter.

Didn't hit 15k like I wanted to...just got to 14k and I'm done for the night.

I am still nicely on pace with doing 3.5k a day, though, which is good as I've put myself a couple days ahead. Yay 😄
