"I'll believe that when that woman is apprehended," says Verlaine. The Security Commander nods.

"If she every get's arrested, she's probably leaving the planet now."

"You think she will give up?" asks Verlaine, rising his eyebrows.

The convoy draws to a halt, still a few minutes from the Duma. Derin and Verlaine look up, in conern.

"What's going on?" asks Derin. Verlaine pops his head out to take a look.

"Looks like a small jam," he says.

"I thought he had the road cleared?" asks Derin.

"We did..." says Verlaine. Already, men are moving down to check out what the problem could be.

Meanwhile, I will remind those of you on Jaglon Beta what you are doing.

RC is still trying to infiltrate the pirates to try and see if he can get a better idea of what is going on there.

Phin, Gundy and JO, you are all in the Port Landing Auhority trying to work out what had happened THERE. One man is still very ill and another has just broken down in tears in front of you, from the memory of some recent horrible event.

And... Gundy... you cannot shake this feeling that you are being watched... you haven't been comfortable on this planet from the start but this is something more specific...

Yerssot takes a deep sight.
"Well, Derin, guess there comes another battle! I must say that if my fellow Jedis were here I would feel more comfortable"said Yerssot, hoping to convince Derin to get him and the others search the other Jedis.

Yerssot doesn't like this jam, again he looks around, looking concerned but he can't see a thing, or feel something dark.
Is she already back? She lost, would she come back? That's impossible!

"Who was so horrible?" Gundark asked the sobbing man. As she touched his shoulder, she felt the remnants of a bent and twisted use of the Force that confounded her. Something terrible had reached into this man and used him against himself. A chill ran down her spine. She felt suddenly exposed, as if something was waiting, watching, holding its breath.

Yerssot, from what you are hearing the problem appears to be an obstruction in the road ahead. The convoy slowly lumbers to a halt.

The security commander is listening to a report from his communicator. He doesn't quite seem to beleive what is being said.

"Apparently..." he says, still listening to the report. "Apparently a statue from the Garden of Heroes has somehoiw collapsed and fallen across the road..."

Gundark, you try to find the source of your discomfort, but it keeps slipping away from your senses.

The man is now babbling something about the 'girl', and how terrifying she was.

You think you may be able to do something for the injured man. The use fo the Force on him was twisted and powerful but... somewhat rough, the sort of lack of focus you would expect to be displayed by a young Padawan- not that this can popssibly relate to any Jedi training you have ever seen. And no Padawan could do something this powerful; YOU could, if you were somehow that way inclined.

"Don't believe it! How can a statue fall down?"
Yerssot isn't relaxed; the previous experience wasn't that good... he plays with his lightsabre, looking around, questioning what's gonna happen...

Suddenly the thought came up in Yerssot that there could be more than one Dark Jedi, always two there are a master and an apprentice.
He was only alone, not sure about the things that will happen, like his master said and Yoda allso: always in motion the future is.

Gundark decided it would probably be easier to question the anguished traffic controller if she could break the connection that had cruelly gripped itself upon him. "What is your name?" she asked gently, mentally reaching out with the Force and pulling away the dark, cold touch that had manifested itself in the back of the man's mind. It was a surprisingly strong weight upon her and left a metallic taste in her mouth.

Yerssot, reports are indeed coming in that the statue was brought down deliberately, though there is no sign of an explosion or machinery that could have done it.

And you catch a glimpse of a figure in black darting along the rooftops...

Gundark, the man's name is Prell. And if you can just keep him calm for a few moments you should be able to help him out... aside from anything else, it seems that his gut is twisted.

"Here we go again"Yerssot mummbles.
Derin looks up,
"What did you say?"
"Nothing"
Suddenly Yerssot jumps out of the speeder and cries to the guards that the statue came down deliberatly, again by the Dark Jedi.
He activates his lightsabre again and looks around, he cries to some survivers to protect Derin.
Yerssot turns around, facing Derin:"Guess you only have one Jedi for your safety here, let's see if that's enough!"
Again he makes a link to the task that Derin has that he COULD send a mission to find the other Jedis.
Yerssot is now very calm, he knows that he can fight Krishna, but was she the master or the apprentice...?

"If your Council had actually sent the people it promised HERE instead of diverting them into the middle of pirate space then things would be ok..." says Derin, with a hint of irritation. Verlaine is trying to get him to keep his head down.

Guards are taking up position around, but they are somewhat sparse after the last battle.

No sign of the dark figure right now. It's all very quiet...

Yerssot makes a desperate move for the search, hoping Derin wouldn't know the truth.
"There for a mission to search the Jedi would be very nice indeed.
May I remind mister Derin that I'm NOT a Jediknight raised on Coruscant in the Jedi Temple... I'm a Jedi, but I can REFUSE certain things the Jedi Council asks me."

"Mind your positions!"Yerssot cries."Verlaine, go to the statue and see what you can do, it's going to be very nasty here, when we have bad luck!"

"We'll talk about it after the speech," says Derin.

Verlaine nods. Taking tewo guard with him, he climbs out the armoured speeder and heads down the road, with a final 'Keep your head down!' comment aimed at Derin.

Guards nervously twiddle their fingers against their triggers, waiting for somthing to happen. Arrangements are being made to move in something heavy to move the statue.

The suspence is killing Yerssot, still he tries to calm his mind. He deactivates his sabre, perhaps he acted too stressy...

Suddenly, there is the sound of fighting. Further down the road you can hear the sound of balster fire and the distinct hum of a sabre being swung...

"What the living Force??? Hasn't she learnt a thing???"
Yerssot said.
"Derin, you come with me AND all the bodyguards! And let's discuss the mission now please!!"
Yerssot activates his lightsabre again.
This is were the fun begins,...again.
The Jediknight thinks...
They run towards the statue, not letting there defence down...

Derin clambers out of the vehicle; his guards trying to stay close, as you head down the road.

The woman in the black leather gear is holding the guards at the front in a stand-off. Every shot they fire at her is being competently deflected or dodged. One or two guards have been killed be accurate re-bounds.

The woman catches sight of you, and takes a couple of steps backwards.

"Prell," Gundark urged, "you've got to tell me what happened to you." The man seemed to have gotten control of himself and was wiping his brown and taking deep breaths.
