Kuylen looks at you, oddly.
"Do I have to do your thinking for you, girl? If I wanted to programme my followers I would use droids. The Jedi are in the lower levels. Theyt cannot be that hard to find, even in crowds. If I am any judge of a young, reckless Jedi- and I have trained two- then your man will be trying to find a way to climb to the upper levels without being noticed.
"However, I EXPECT you to do the work yourself, not to be directed by me..."
"I...I will bare that in mind. Thank you!" Edna says nervously before backing away so Kuylen does not have a chance to shout at her again."
She makes her way quickly up towards the security room. She wants to find out as much as possible about what this Jedi has been up to before she goes in search of him.
Security Chief Hade is getting ready to go down below and pick up the Jedi posing as a Mercenary, to lure him into Quam's hands. Kuylen is still on the Concourse.
Hence, there is no-one of great importance in the security room right now. One of the operators looks up as you enter.
"Couple of Jedi taking a look at your handiwork," he says, and you can see on the monitor that two of the Jedi- the straight forward one dressed leathers and the boy- are in the Port Landing Authority right now, tending to the man who you left so unwell.
"Can I help you at all?" the operator asks.
The operator blinks for a few moments at the sudden orders, and then gets to work.
In a few minutes he has a small report for you.
"Not that much. He followed the Mercenary to the outside of the PLA; that's where he got into the fight with that Dug, Jemel. His Jedi buddies came to help him then the Mercenary came and broke it all up. The kid returned to his ship and then came out again, talked to the person with the cloak [that's the Master, folks] and then went to see what the deal was in the PLA, once you had left."
The sound of a flushing loo is heard. Quam steps out one of the sliding doors and walk up to Kuylen. He tosses him the cylinder he had given Quam.
"I'm not using any of Krisha's crap. Too dangerous. If you want to blow up the ship, you do it yourself."
As Kuylen's face turns to great anger, Quam throws a small device towards him with a smile. Kuylen catches it and when he opens his hand he sees a small remote trigger device.
"You don't think I'd be going down there again. The ship is filled with charges. Just press the button, my Master, and thy will be done."
Quam looks around and then turns to Kuylen again. "Where did you send Edna to, if I may ask, my Master?"
Kuylen smiles.
"I remember why I picked you now, Quam... though I epxected you to try and frame Krisha for this...
"Edna is going down to toy with the Jedi. This could work out to our advantage. Meanwhile, I have sent Hade down to lure the Jedi posing as a Mercenary up here. I was hoping you would deal with him. Of courswe, Hade may not find him at once so if you want to lure him somewhere on his own yourself... jut make sure when you try to kill him you don't end up being teamed up on. Jedi are lethal in pairs..."
Kuylen toys with the detonator.
"Not now..." he says. "That will alert them to us. I'll blow the ship one the fighting starts. Or perhaps you think they will be insufficient challenge if we surprise them too much, Quam?"
"Kill him when he's on his own, Quam. That's all that's important. If you fight him while he is with his friends you will meet your destiny."
Kuylen keeps toying with the detonator.
"If you can think of a way to seperate him without luring him somewhere, then by all means go ahead... just remember, I'll handle the Master..."
"The 'Mercenary' was last seen talking with the Engineers in the lower docking bays," says Kuylen. "He could be difficult to find down there but he WANTS to come up here so... sooner or later, he will be easy to find.
"Last we saw of him he was alone; he still thinks his cover is intact, you see..."
Edna, there is a certain amount of commotion in the Port Landing Authority. Two Jedi are there, the young one and the more experienced looking one. The experienced one is losing patience with the same Senior Controller you spoke to. He is trying to find out what happened here.
Edna, you quickly dart aside as the Jedi Master that Kuylen identified as Gundark comes walking in.
She quickly seems to be taking control of the situation in there. It seems that someone might tell her that you were there...
Meanwhile, Kuylen seems to be thinking long and hard about something. But then suddenly he asks a question
"Did you ever fight a Jedi, Quam? Before you met me?" he asks.
Meanwhile, over on Damagran, Krisha and Chion have made their move. You don't know this, of course.
But Krisha has gotten herself into a lightsabre fight with new arrival for the light side, Yerssot. This fight is nkw being resolved in a seperate thread. Feel free to visit that thread to see how it goes and post appropriate comments- mayhaps queeq wants Krisha to lose, eh?
EDIT- the sabre fight is over. Krisha lost, but sadly for queeq, she got away... bloody Jedi, eh? Never finish the job!
Taqke a look at it anyway, so you know how it all works.
"A Jedi...", Quam mused. "I've encountered Jedi, yes.... sadly she never passed the status of padawan. She was about to you know...". An evil smile appears on Quam's face as he recalls the violent victory. No mercy... ever.
"Yet... I have had my share of dark Jedi, but that's a different story I won't bother you with." As the mental picture of his former master dead at his apprentices hand comes to mind, Quam blocks his memory. He senses something...
Suddenly Quam glances at the sky. "I felt a tremor in the Force....Krisha..."
