I noticed in the movies that they could gohst and heal any point as LONG AS THEY WERE ALIVE. If someone shot them in the head and they didnt ghost in time, then they would die.

Now in the car, they were blown out fo the car... if they adnt ghosted, they would either burned alive, or slammed into the cememnt below, porbably killing thme. But they ghosted, healed any damage, and survived....

anybody heard their cries when they were ghosting? (that scence when morpheus killed them)

Not necessarily. For all we know, they might ghost out as they die and then just fade away into nothing.

reloaded and revolutions are one film cut in two so...
however they werent in club hel so that might mean they are dead.

we wont know for sure unless they appear in matrix online.

The Twins were not killed in Reloaded, Smith simply copied himself over them hence the reason they were not in Revo. As for shooting them before they could phase out, it's quite apparent that is near impossible since it's an auto function they have control over. The only time there was a display of any control over it was when one was shot in the arm while keeping the door open. I think the only way to kill them would be to terminate their shell, which Neo, Smith, Mero, and the Architect are the only ones known to have that power.

Its just the easy answer.

You have as much proof that he didn't as others have that he did.

And as its pointed out, Reloaded and Revolutions are one movie, they were defeated in the movie, end of story, just because they aren't in club hel means nothing, the club hel scene as far as the movie timline goes happened the same day as the highway chase (well it was that night), they could have been doing anything, they also could have been copied over by Smith, nothing says they weren't, but nothing says they were except that if they were in the matrix at the time they were copied onto, and i'm pretty sure it is said that the twins were "doomed to wonder the matrix forever", i guess its quite possible they were copied over.

P.S. Defeated does not mean killed......or copied onto sort of thing., also sorry about my pointless babbling.

Mordecai has a point: There is no proof of the twins dying or living.
The scene in Reloaded – when their car blows up – can be interpreted both ways: If the twins simply ghost and stay ghosted until they wish not to, they could, in principle, survive the explosion.
But if they can only ghost for, say, a certain amount of time, or need to reach solid ground, or… then they were deleted.
As so much in the Matrix Universe it’s up to ourselves.

if they are in Matrix: online then will know that they survived.
otherwise we will never know.

heyyy people!!! 1 interesting thing....if u can see superbrawl again...or see the pics in the superbrawl thread...

when they show neo saying "it ends tonight" the direction of rain is straight vertically
but when they show neo running towards smith it is in oblique form
and when they show smith running towards neo it is in backslash form

You know the first question in this thread? About the bullets. They slowed down before stopping, as if there was jelly or something stopping them.... Plus I think/hope the twins are still alive. British actors rule!
