Holes in The Matrix Movies

Well let me put it this way. If you was filming rain pouring straight down and began running sideways then the rain would appear as if it was on an angle. Understand now?

But the next moment when they reach each other and start to fight, during the same cut and scene, the rain again is shown in straight vertical direction.

How the hell would smith be able to copy into the twins there is no way because.
1. They are always with each other and would kick his ass.
2. If he stuck his fist into one they would phase and fight/run/both kick his ass.

Also, wtf would happen even if they did phase after the explosion. They flew heaps high in the air. What goes up must cum down, AND even if they did land safely below they're is a highway underneath them so they would get hit by a truck/car/jeep/motorbike/policecar or sumthing.

errrr, there were about 10 million Smiths by the time he was gonna copy on the twins (if such a thing actually happened), i'm sure it could have been possible, he would have found a way.

Maybe the twins weren't copied onto at all because it was impossible and what not, that doesn't mean they made an effort to be at the super brawl at the end, they might have fled from smith, what does it really matter anyway?!?!?

The cant be hit by any truck/car/etc... if they phase again. 😛

but if they phased to stop the pain of hitting the ground wouldn't they fall into it and go deep into the ground?

we see them get shot and heal themselves
we see them ghost into moving cars

i think they could easily time their ghosting to survive the explosion and fall.
if they did get hurt, they can heal.

They can levitate while in ghost form, so they may be able to fly while in that form, too.

Truth is, nobody but the Wakowskis know what happened to the twins at this point. There are many different possibilities and I just pointed out one. All you need to know is that their importance to the movie was not all that great and that their connection to the story ended at the freeway.

Think about it. They weren't even after Morpheus, Trin, or Neo! They were after the Keymaker because the Mero didn't want to give him up. The Keymaker escaped, then was killed by Smith, so they failed the Mero, who obviously has power since he terminated the Oracles shell, so it's even possible that they ran from and/or were terminated by the Mero for their failure.

Whatever happened is not that important to the story. Everyone I've talked to who is disappointed in the twins not being in Revo only seems to have wanted to see them fight Neo, and, decidedly, feel an unwaivering belief that they could not have died then, or possibly at all. If that were true, however, and hundreds of thousands of Smiths couldn't clone over them, or the Mero couldn't terminate them, tell me how, exactly, Neo would be able to kill them??

IF there was a fight between the twins and Neo it would have been redundantly stupid. The twins can phase to heal themselves, they can levitate while they are phased, they can move through cars, doors, bullets, swords, and just about anything else. Any possible scenario that Neo would defeat the twins would have drawn the same inescapable argument that we have now - the "that was a stupid way to get rid of them" kind of attitude. So I'm inclined to think that they didn't really die, they just don't have anything to do with the story anymore.

Sifer knows what he is on about, the rain holds no weight as a hole in my opinion.

Its damn rain, the direction of the rain holds no direct affect on the story line, therefore it is not a hole that needs answering for the movie to be understood. NOT a hole.

...or maybe i've had to much to drink, its taken me like 10 mins just to make sure i haven't spelt things like n ass, either way its not a HOLE!

Ofcourse. That's simple physics. When you are standing still in a straight rain, the rain appears to fall straight like: | when you move it will appear slanted like / or \. Simular scenarios are talked about in Einstines general theory of relitivity.

Next time it's raining outside, take a video camera out and record the rain falling then pan sidways in both directions. If you can see the rain (best results would be done using a bright spotlight) you will see it do just that.
