OK people. Another topic to discuss.

In Reloaded, Persephone talked about the older or earlier version of the Matrix in front of Neo, Trinity and Morpheus BUT they didnt look surprised. She talked this when she killed a boy with a "silver" bullet. When Neo met the Architect and the Architect told him that it was the 6th version of the Matrix, he looked surprised. I also remember Smith telling Morpheus about the first version of the Matrix in M1. Then why didnt he tell this to Neo?

It is my opinion, and i have no proof, that they knew there was a test matrix, that failed. Thus Morpheus, Trinity, Neo weren't suprised by Persephone. However, they did not know that there were 'others', or other Ones, aside from the 'one born in the matrix' that was prophesied to come again.

Merovingian also used the word "Predecessors". But Neo looked surprised that time and Merovingian ran away.
I am not sure but I remember Smith saying the words "first version of the Matrix...".

How is Smith able to fly in m3.Is it something to do with him being the "Oracle".

Probably because he has become Neo's opposing force.

Smith knows that the Matrix isn't real, he just...exercises that knowledge...it's not like he believes in gravity...psssht

smith's reality defines that he is able to fly... mind over matrix-- metaphorically speaking in smith's case...

But i think he was able to fly after he cloned The Oracle. If not, then why didnt he fly in Burlybrawl?

Since the 1st Movie, Smith has been like a mirror image to Neo. The Subway fight, Neo in the chopper etc. Then we have the abilities and order:

They are both trying to get out of the Matrix - Neo gets out first, Neo last.

First Movie - Neo dies, then Smith dies - Last movie, Neo dies, then Smith dies.

Neo learns to fly in the 1st movie, Smith in the last.

There is a pattern, can you see it 😄

EDIT: Oh and btw, they are but a few examples...obviously 😄

And if the reason is that Smith is the equation trying to balance the equation of Neo then he could be able to fly in Burlybrawl.

Or perhaps he could fly and just didn't want to do it in the fight. He was more focused on taking over the Matrix beforehand, but just took a shot at beating Neo.

good god. When Smith took over the Oracle, didnt it seem like the other Smiths were thinking "ok, we've found the right man for the job". Like when Smith flung back after taking over her, The "Oracle Smith" saw the future and probably could see the code like Neo. At that point, he probably obtained the ability to fly. Common now, he couldnt fly in Reloaded cus if he could, he would hav flown after him when he left the burley brawl😬
