You're thinking Ultimate Hulk. 616 Hulk doesn't like getting hit with Mjolnir, so much so he grabbed a lady and threatened to kill her unless Thor threw his hammer aside.

Hulk has taken blows from thor's hammer, jugg's fist, and betty's head.(Sorry couldn't resist. lol)

^^^^^ none of which he liked... except possibly betty 😉, and they hurt him as well, so where are we going w/ this?

He lived to tell about it.

nobody said he didnt... death isnt the only means of defeat.

He took the hammer blows pretty well in The Ultimates.

In the ultimate universe?

Ultimate Hulk, isn't 616 Hulk.

No, get over yourself. I just happen to be responding to the same threads you are.

Jug's two fists are > Thor's hammer when used to hit people with.
And Jug's fists nearly killed him.

You don't get it.

Hulk isn't allowed to lose against bricks in a h2h fight, that's the ONLY logical reason why Jug beats him everytime but in the end his HELMET ALWAYS FALLS OFF and he's almost ALWAYS hit by a telepath.

The reason I posted that comic summary was to show that Hulk doesn't always overpower Jugs.

Jug won the fight because of three things:

He showed no signs of wear or fatigue(Hulk did) after the fight.

He overpowered Hulk, which to some is impossible.

Hulk was getting weaker by the minute do to fatigue, it was only a matter of time 'till Hulk got murdered.

Again, Jug wasn't bloodlusted, just wanted Hulk out of his way.

maybe you should try reading a few posts back dude.

"And yes, Thor could kill hulk with mjolnir" -By Long Pig.

You're saying Thor couldn't take Hulk out with the power of his mjolnir?

That's rediculous, there is a reason why Thor ALWAYS throws his hammer away to fight Hulk h2h.

That reason is; Mjolnir would make it an extremely unfair fight.

Thor could indeed kill Hulk.

Agree. there are many instances where jugg has overpowered the hulk

1. Agree to some degree
2. again i agree, but let's not confuse the act of 'overpowering an opponent' with 'defeating an opponent.' I'm a train fighter in boxing and brazilian jiu jitsu and one important concept in fighting is the idea of "give and take." Tyson would allow other fighters to hit him as he prepare to counter. Sakuraba allowed other fighters to put him in a hold so he can counter. Yes hulk did counter, as he reached over and grab jugg by the helmet and swung him around. Did juggernaut overpower hulk? Yes, but only at that ONE MOMENT. The point i'm getting at is that this is a natural flow of a fight. no fighter is going to completely dominate another fighter unless that fight is completely one-sided. Even you would have to agree that these two are pretty evenly match. Ultimately that MOMENT proved nothing!!! No one was declared a winner and now one was declared a loser. Let's move on.
3. Why because juggernaut said so. Well if you can follow a character's word so religiously, fine allow me to quote hulk: "Hulk's been knocked down before but hulk always get up." And he did just that.

just so i don't get any hate mail, i am in fact impartial. Because these are two of my favorite characters. So stop hatin.

Yes that's exactly what i'm saying. What is he going to do with mjolnir throw lighting bolts at him. And when did thor ever fought hulk without his hammer. Although i believe rune thor would probably take down hulk. But no kill him.

"And when did thor ever fought hulk without his hammer."

There was a fight where Hulk made a hostage so that Thor would fight him without the hammer. Then you have another instance where they stalemated strenght over an hour. No hammer as well. (Defenders# 10 first volume if im not mistaken.)

"Although i believe rune thor would probably take down hulk. But no kill him."

Wasent Rune Thor considered above Odin? Methinks Hulk would indeed be killed if that would be Thor`s wish.

please explain to me how he would kill hulk. Blast him? freeze him? burn him? disintegrate him to the bone? nope. Happened all before. Anything and everything has happen to hulk and he still "got back up". Unless thor has some kind of ability to affect his opponent at a molecular level i don't see hulk dying. Hulk would get a serious beating i admit but getting killed? i doubt it. This is a guy who even the beyonder was in awe of.

A fight of will power versus a restrictive non damaging magic, is not the same thing as as offensive damaging magic.
