Hulk/Namor didn't beat the magic, they beat the frail human wielder, Strange.

Even if he has the power of a god, he has the body of a human and can be k.o'd by a simple psychic backlash. Which is how Namor broke them.....which by my definition, isn't breaking them.

I got scans, but I won't post them unless someone wants me to.

Here's what happend:

Strange is probing the different universes with his orb, all of a sudden the orb shoots a ray of light back at him, he wonders the source so he goes off in pursuit.

He finds mindless Hulk and incases him in a green orb to contain Hulk's radiation. After some fighting, Hulk bursts free and falls to the ground unconcious.

A white orb is surrounding Hulk now, Strange can't penetrate it with his physical shell, he says:

"Amazing. The shield resists my physical form...but my spirit form is still very weary from my recent exploits...but I see no other choice."

Strange then goes into Astral form and jumps into Hulks mind, he sees all the wacky shit from the unreal dimension he and hulk are in via hulks mind.

Then all of a sudden, his spirit is physically thrown to the ground, Strange says "Uhh??? I...I FELT that!"

The FF come in, they don't know who Strange is.

Hulk swipes at Strange's astral spirit again and physically connectss, again.
Strange says "I...I didn't imagine it! My spirit image has substance in this....this INSANE fantasy world!"

Hulk says "Hulk don't care bout ghost man's words, all that matters is strength!"

Reed's outstretched arm grabs Strange's astral spirit form from Hulk's area.
Reed says "Whoever you are, let the professionals handle this."

Strange sees this and says "MADNESS! I am tangible....even though I am merely a projection of my own mind! Perhaps in THIS world thought becomes reality?!" "Let us see then....what OTHER thoughts I might conjure up. Such as the bands of cyttorak!"

The bands wrap Hulk up and hold him.

Reed sees this and says "What the devil?--? Who are you? How are you accomplishing this? What scientific discipline?"

Strange says : "Reed, sue, johnny, don't any of you recognize me? I'm dr.strange!"

Thing says "Yeah right, and I actually can beat Juggernaut" hehe

Hulk then breaks free of the bands.

Hmmmm....So, what have we learned?

The dimension they were in allowed thoughts to become reality, Hulk's though was to break free of the bands, so he did. It had nothing to do with Hulk, it was the universe's ****ed up reality that allowed it to happen.

Case closed.

I found an issue where Juggernaut gets a clear win over Hulk.

Hulk vol. 2 #172

It goes like this:

The Hulk has been captured by Colonel Armbruster. Peter Corbeau calls Armbruster and tells him that by authority of the White House he is coming to fix the mess that Armbruster made. Hulk develops an immunity to the gas they are sedating him with and begins to bang on the cage that will hold him indefinitely, but now upon reflection it might last two days. Corbeau blasts Hulk with a dimensional teleporter, but when Hulk disappears the Juggernaut takes his place

They quickly try to blast him back to the dimension, but an incredible feedback occurs and suddenly the cage is filled with both the Hulk and the Juggernaut. Hulk and Juggernaut smash down the wall together to get outside. They smash through the army. Juggernaut says that they could shake the earth together. Hulk says that he doesn’t want to shake the earth he just wants to be left alone. Hulk leaps away. A little later Hulk sees Juggernaut grabbing a man that accidentally crashed his car when he saw Juggernaut. Hulk tells Juggernaut to let him go. Juggernaut throws the man at Hulk and charges towards the man’s family.

Hulk smashes Juggernaut from behind. Juggernaut smashes Hulk back and knocks him over a butte. Juggernaut crashes through the butte and drives Hulk back. Hulk knocks Juggernaut to the ground. He then uproots the ground beneath Juggernaut. Hulk can’t find Juggernaut until Juggernaut leaps down on him. Juggernaut stands over Hulk and says that it’s too bad Hulk attacked him because they could have been gods together, a perfect blend of science and sorcery. Hulk says that he has been knocked down before, but he always gets up.

Hulk hits Cain, but Juggernaut kicks him back to the ground. Juggernaut says that Hulk’s blows are getting weaker while he remains strong. Hulk is lying on his stomach and Juggernaut is pulling his face backwards. Hulk sticks his hand backward into Juggernaut’s helmet. Hulk starts swinging Juggernaut around until the helmet comes loose. Juggernaut flies off and hits a wall. Hulk figures that the fight is over and turns to leave. Juggernaut gets up and is about to deliver the death blow from behind, but he is attacked from behind by Professor X, Jean Grey, and Scott Summers. They all blast him and knock him out.

Jug DEFINATLY won that one. Hulk would have died if it weren't for the x-men.

hulk got a little compassionate in that fight same won't happen if he was going all out me thinks.

The death blow? I highly dout that...imo Hulk had the upper hand, Juggernaut doesn't get tossed around like that often. Juggernaut and Hulk are too evenly matched, its a stalemate if they both go all out.

"death blow"?! What is that!!! what was juggernaut gonna do "Punch" hulk. A blow from thors hammer wasn't even enough to land a "death blow", never mind a punch.

But the x-men came and saved Hulk from Jug. Hulk gets saved a lot from Jugs it seems.

2 by red skull
3 by a psychic backlash

And yes, Thor could kill hulk with mjolnir.

Jug's two fists>being hit with Thor's hammer.

You're thinking Ultimate Hulk. 616 Hulk doesn't like getting hit with Mjolnir, so much so he grabbed a lady and threatened to kill her unless Thor threw his hammer aside.

Jug weighs 1000lbs, Hulk can lift 100's of tons, it'd be silly for him not to be able to pick him up. Jug did the same to Hulk, it's no big deal.

The big deal is beating someone so hard that they need help from a whole team.
Obviously they thought Jug would have killed him or they wouldn't have stepped in to save ol' greenie.

LP,,,the point i'm trying to get at is the fact that you are using one specific moment of the battle to declare jugg's superiority. If you go back and read you own post you would know that that was just one moment in the battle. Yes he had hulk down. Yes he was gonna bash his face against the ground, but the battle did continue with hulk reaching over and grabbing jugg's helment and swinging him. This did not declare hulk's victory either, however, it did prove my point of 'the question of who won?' did not rest on that one moment in the battle. Juggernaut striked and hulk countered. That was all that was.

Preparing for an attack while an opponent walks away is hardly "beating someone so hard"
