I am a born again christain. I attend a Pentecostal church of God.

buddism, isn't that where u worship that statue?

Look, FE, I don't understand how telling somebody who doesn't share your religions beliefs that their religion is wrong is going to change their mind. What is written in the Bible is not "the truth". Especially not to somebody who isn't Christian. ie, you can't prove the Bible by using passages from the Bible.

No, and tbh I am a little worried by your ignorance about other religions. You don't worship anything at all in Buddhism. Hence why it isn't technically a religion at all. The statue you're talking about is just a symbol, like the crucifix to Christians. It's considered good luck to rub Buddha's belly, because he is the symbol of enlightenment, good health, and happiness. Buddhism teaches that the way to fulfillment in life is through learning to control one's mind, and through kindness to all other living things.

I get my information from MY Bible.....
Lol, I lost it again.......😛

I don't understand how you expect to prove the story of the Ark to us by quoting Bible passages. You can't prove something using itself.

Buddhism is great.
I might become a buddhist as well....and forgo my current religion....

Then why do they pray if they don't worship anything?

They pray for inner peace, and enlightenment.....I think...😛

Prayer is consider talking or trying to communicate with a higher being.

This is just a few of the directions from God on building the ark, i can give it all tho if you would like:

Ok, so speaking completely literally. Noah (and his family) constructed a 3 story, 150mx25m Ark, managed to collect every form of life on this planet, preserve them all until the flood subsided, then redistribute them and repopulate the human race through his own family? I may have left something out but that's my basic understanding of the story of Noah's ark in the completely literal sense. Is that what you believe Fiery Eyes?

I thought Buddhist 'prayer' was actually meditation as opposed to prayer to a higher being. Although I do seem to recall hearing about Buddhists somehow making contact with Buddhas who had died before them. Darth Revan?

^That would be consider praying for the dead. Which is the same thing that Christians and Muslims and also ALL other religions do! Pray to the those that came before them.

born an orthodox christian 😐

but whenever i have a chance i study any philosophy/religion from Nihilism to Zend-Avesta

but no one sees that as proof in here
why should we

the phrases from the bible is what makes this story so bogus so why you quote the bible is beyond me

.buddism, isn't that where u worship that statue?
and the diffrence in that versus that of worshiping a crusifix an image of jesus and an image of a maiden whit a halo is?

The point of scripture is: you wanted to know how it could happen and how all the animals got fit on there, cuz Noah and directions from God on how to build it.
and if DaNiel can be put in the Lions den, yet the mouth of the Lion was shut, can he not get the animals on the ark and feed them?
and if Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, can be put into a fiery furnace and not be burned up, and yet the guard was consumed by the fire, can he not get the animals on the ark and feed them?

I don't worship an image, I worship Jesus Christ, the Cross is just a reminder of what happened, we don't worship the cross
and i wasn't being rudeasking about buddism, was making sure thats what it was, i'm guessing by your response I was right?
