No, and tbh I am a little worried by your ignorance about other religions. You don't worship anything at all in Buddhism. Hence why it isn't technically a religion at all. The statue you're talking about is just a symbol, like the crucifix to Christians. It's considered good luck to rub Buddha's belly, because he is the symbol of enlightenment, good health, and happiness. Buddhism teaches that the way to fulfillment in life is through learning to control one's mind, and through kindness to all other living things.
Sorry wasn't aware that i shld know every other religion out there. Was asking a question about it.

Look, FE, I don't understand how telling somebody who doesn't share your religions beliefs that their religion is wrong is going to change their mind. What is written in the Bible is not "the truth". Especially not to somebody who isn't Christian. ie, you can't prove the Bible by using passages from the Bible.
Since when is asking questions telling someone they are wrng? I wanted to know where he got the info, and i can ask that, just like all you have been asking me, there is no diff there, except for you seem to be getting touchy on the subject, i'm guessing

and i wasn't being rudeasking about buddism, was making sure thats what it was, i'm guessing by your response I was right?
wtf? I told you exactly the opposite of what you said.
all>Buddhists don't pray, they meditate. The goal of meditation is not communication with any kind of higher being, rather it's communication with your inner self and your mind... Basically getting to know how your mind works and learning how to control it better.
FE>I'm just noticing that you seem to know little to nothing about other religions. It seems to me as if you assume all religions other than Christianity are some form of idol worship.
Well, answer me this. If all mankind is desccended from Noah, than why do we have all different races of people? African, asian, hispanic, caucasian, arabic, etc? Last time I checked it takes a hell of a lot longer than 4000 years for gene pools to become so separate from one another.
And again, you're not proving the story of the Ark to any non-Christians by telling us what it says in the Bible. We don't believe that people can be stuffed into a furnace and not burn up. Because we don't believe in the Bible literally.
