USH'S MATRIX GAME- TRAINING MISSION- Capture the Flag

Started by Ushgarak36 pages

I'll turn that into a weapon strike, Mors- as Gift of the Emperor, like all Emperor powers, can only be used on a sword strike!

First of all, the first barricade has been cleared. So, to attack the next mundane, you first have to clear the second barricade! So, that is your first action, as you advance and clear that.

Next, you stab at the closest mundane there. You roll evens- that VERY nearly kills the Mundane as the Sword is a nasty weapon, but not quite. But then you activate Gift of the Emperor, and run him through instead! Your sword pierces straight through him, severing his spine, and killing him stone dead.

That is both your banked actions used. And then your action for this round will be, presumably, retrieving your sword!

Which means you are all caught up, Mors! Now I just need some defences from you.

Mors does a Wall Run on the next barricade up and flips off to avoid bullets.

(Oh boy...I have some making up to do!)

Heph vaults into the first barricade.

He then jumps up to the second one where Mors is.

Nearest mundane receives a Hand Without Shadow (1 point) to the face.

Follows that up with Bite of the Dragon (3 points) to the stomach.

*Silly bullet-time running*

Okidokey! Though remember, if you felt like spending, those Sharpened Scale powers can be used WITH things like Hand Without Shadow- they can modify attacks.

So, two actions to get over there- yup!

So, first shot, a lightning-fast jab with Hands Without Shadow that cannot be dodged. Good choice! Mundanes sure as heck cannot use Focus powers to get out the way!

-2 on your roll- not a great hit but a solid one, somewhat modified by his armour. He is winded, but now down

Then your second blow comes in. This one he dodges- but you rolleed +5. Oooh, NASTY... boosted with Sharpened Scales, that is a MIGHTY blow. He is bodily thrown back and into the wall- very DEFINITELY Out!

Wow, Fire's team is clearing up now! That's you fully caught up, Heph! Just some defences needed now.

Sorry, Mors, but Wall Run is just an aid to movement- you need Vertical Dodge to do what you want, and you need to be better at Leaping Storm for that.

Give it another couple of days, Ares, then you will be there!

(Meanwhile, I'm killing coppertops... 😈 )

I'll Dodge then, to dodge the bullets.

Okidokey, though if you dodge ALL of them that might seriously slow you down, depending on how many shots come your way!

Vertical Dodge! 😄

Heheh... off the barricade or the wall? No difference, just style...

Barricade will do.

He pushes forward into the other assailants and then launches the now dead corpse (from all the gun fire) toward them then he uses LAUGHTER of the FOX to disarm and fire at one of them, then he aims and fires at another. He then uses EYE of the GRASSHOPPER to disarm another gaurd and fire at him as he is un gaurded.

I don't think you owed any moves...

so my move hasn't come yet

Update plz? cause if I am not mistaken I still have an action and I'd like to see how things are looking before I do something

BTW GREAT WORK GUYS

Ok, it is shooty shooty time again!

Ok, just five shots at you this time Burn- your close-up assailant is dodging too much to hit back.

This time, they all miss. Bullets are pinging all around you...

Three shots at Cloud, two at Castor. A bad roll against Castor means the police have shot dead their own guy.

+5 against Cloud is another hit! Another six damage to him. Eeep.
And Castor, they do indeed shoot your hostage dead! You are missed.

In the other room, we have two shots at Virus, two at Fire, and one at everyone else. Heph, I am cancelling your Vertical Dodge- with only one person firing at you, you don't need it, a normal one will do. Likewise your Wilow Step, Rade.

What with people's various dodges, the Cops in that room do not have much of a chance- they all miss.

West Side of building

Coeus 15/0/0

East Side of building

Ares 6/0/0

CURRENTLY OWED ACTIONS: Virus (3), Cloud (3), Fire (1)

Those currently owed actions can act more than once but I won't 'bank' actions for that long, In fact, three is the maximum amount of bankable actions so it is important that Virus and Cloud act!

Ares and Coeus are starting to close in- two more actions and they reac the South Side, they can make it to room 3 in three actions.

Rade, you are re-loading. You can move as well, if you wish.

Burn, very aggravated, you give your target a Hands Without Shadow strike that he cannot dodge.

You roll +1. And with your target already hurt, that is JUST enough to send him Out! He crumples down to the floor.

First Barricade is now clear for both teams!

Ok, Castor, I have your actions programmed in, as it were- but you have to advance to the second barricade before you can attack more targets so you are moving there as your action this turn.

The cops firing this turn are only firing TWO bullets each! I still need defensive actions from almost everyone, of course- however, the firepower you are facing is considerably less now. No-one is going to face more than four attacks, some of you will only face one- please post your defences accordingly.

I assume i am facing four attacks so i will use willow step.
if i wanna pick up 2 dropped guns does that take 2 turns?
but for my nxt action im gonna pick up as many guns as possible,
then willow step as defencive,

im not gonna be around today

I use 'Speed of Snake'

Okidokey, Phoe, I shall treat it as if you did it at the start of the round. That reduces your exertion by one for one focus, but it is not an action, and you are owed several actions, so please post on!

Ok Burn. Yup, one action for each weapon you pick up. You can pick up the one from the first cop you killed- a fully loaded Glock.
