Yeah, but like I say it seems to be like faces. If he'd ever felt his son's presence before he had forgotten what it felt like, and if he HAD recognised it I expect his response would have been very different.

So then they do feel the precense of the force.

They feel the presence of minds IN the Force. There is still nothing to suggest that they can sense other people using the Force.

You were the one bringing this in circles. I did read everything you had to say. It was your statements that seemed to need the reminder of previous statements. (and the facts)

Also, you have already acknowledged that Vader has seen Luke and thus should know him from his "force face' so to speak.

Like I said, you are arguing just to argue now. You seem to like it. for what reason I don't know.

We ask for specific places especially where Qui knows the force in Ani, and yet you dodge the issue by saying reputation and action. We give the fact that there were no actions, yet that is not enough for you.

But I think it is healthy with a discussion. Things you belived was straight forward may get a different angel now. What does 'acknowledging' that Vader know's Luke's 'force-face' have to do with anything? That was just me saying that Vader recognises Luke and Obi-Wan from their minds, not from their Force ability.

I'm sorry, Jameous, but I stand by what I say about Qui-Gon notcing that Anakin is force aware. You say I am dodging the issue? Nonsense. Watch the film again and see Liam's responses to Anakin every time he talks to him. And WHY can't we just trust QGJ's instincts on this? It's the Jedi way!

Ok, Annakin knew that QGJ was a Jediknight, and he didn't told him...how? he saw his lightsabre!!!
The only thing that I can see is that somethimes he says smart things, but that's ALL, nothing indicating any Force-related things

Actually, that doesn't have to be Force-related, it could mean that you have to follow your instincts and not think about it.

I think that means the force, "the force will guide us" etc.

There seems to be a strong connection between instincts and the Force.

And of COURSe the Force is felt, Jameous! That's the whole point of it. But I still maintain we have seen nothing that makes us think that you can detect someone using the Force nearby, let alone use that as a basis for thinking trhe person in the fighter in front of you is a powerful Froce adept you somehow missed and then dismiss that with a casual 'The Force is Strong with this one". Far more likely he was just commenting on the tricky shot.

Well, I still think Vader isn't the kind of guy to phrase the Force casually.

And maybe we're trying to find too much behind all this. 😉
