Phone Booth. What a film. Has one of my heroes in it. (Keifer Sutherland)

Don't fret yet. We have the following left to get through:

Overprotected Darkchild Remix (Doubt you'll like it)

Let Me Be
What It's Like To Be Me

She'll Never Be Me

Just curious if you've browsed through the first 10 pages of this thread...and what you specifically thought of the posts.

Makedde; That's a very good question. It has been officially denied by her spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane, but she made a point of saying that if Britney was pregnant, she hadn't told anybody in her inner circle. They kept it pretty quiet last time, so it's always a possibility. Personally, I never believe anything until it gets posted on her official site. There's so many lies in the papers these days.

Thanks for the info! 🙂

I never liked the old Britney, I hated her old songs, but I like her new stuff, it's pretty good. 😎

Who? Me? Of course I read them. But that was ages ago and I can't remember what they said.

Brit's new stuff is pretty different, eh? The stuff she's been doing in the last year but not officially releasing has been fantastic. Chances are "The Original Doll" will be her best album yet.

Uh, yeah, that would be you. 😑 Who else?

Well, every now and then, instead of clicking on the lastest post I accidentally start on page 1, and it's KidRock and some other freak talking about their personal sex lives and a lot of other immature stuff. The first 4 or 5 pages are hilarious (if you like childish humour, I guess)!

Haha! I'll have to have a re-read. And you COULD have been talking to Makede.

Intimidated

Okay, the rhythm itself is tolerable, so let's examine the psychology behind the message here:

"So baby take a chance, and show your confidence / Oh baby; tell me who you are / You make my body scream / You make me believe / That you're what I'm waiting for / Don't you be intimidated"

Well, this is exactly what every woman says to me when the time is right 🙄, so let's see how this is going to help her man not be intimidated. First of all, she's daring him to risk his inhibitions and step up to the plate and show her what defines him as a man. Second, she's pretty much expecting him to be this Manhero of the Ages by laying all these compliments and expectations, and third, she demands him not to be intimidated by these things...oh, and by the way, the woman he's trying to get with just happens to be Britney Spears.

No pressure here.

But I like the attitude, though. 😉

I already addressed her in-depth postings of substantial intelligence 🙄 in the GDF.

And it's becoming common knowledge:

Intimidated (lol) nice review

Not a bad song at all. You gave it a higher rating than me!

Taste The Victory (Right Now)

Uh-oh. This almost looks like the next commercial for a crappy drink product. But, looking at the video you provided, it looks like Britney has decided to join the soccer (sorry, football) or volleyball team (of all things). I'm sure guys could do a lot worse with their cheerleading decisions than selecting Miss Spears to stand on the sideline spinning a ball on her fingers, but they'd probably want a more aggressive song.

Yelling them that they need to score a goal or point (in the game, not with her) "Right Now!" will be all the motivation they will need to remove their heads from the game and purposely stand on the sidelines to flirt with the ball-spinning girl by the water cooler.

This would also be a good song for the man who accomplished what was being demanded of him in Intimidated!

p.s. I modified "Cinderella"'s score because I think it's head and shoulders above the rest so far.

Taste The Victory (Right Now) was another commercial song. I would have made a gif from the advert itself, but there isn't one in good quality, so I used the Making of instead.
I think it's the best of all the Pepsi songs. I find it really funny. You hear all the guys shouting in the background, and it makes you feel like jumping up and down. (Sorry, I'm a hooligan at football matches.....)

* From the "Call Me Crazy" Department *

Looking at the last picture you posted, do you think that maybe...just maybe, she has a similar disposition to Tom Cruise? I'm not saying she looks like a man by any means, but just the facial disposition struck me as somewhat similar when I first looked at it. Take away the body and hair and just concentrate on the face. If you agree, do you think that had a lot to do with why they're so famous?

ermm.........Have you been taking your medication lately?

No, I ran out right before I started doing the Britney song reviews.

Coincidence?

I can't see the similarity. Am I being too short-sighted?

Yes, you are. Perhaps you need a good cup of tea, a plate of crumpets, and a viewing of Wallace and Gromit to get your eyes back on track.

Well, I'm not sure if I'd exactly call it a "striking similarity," but take away the microphone and lipstick, and...well, nevermind. Actually, I think it's just that one picture because I've never thought about that before. 😕

LOL! You make me laugh (in a good way, not laughing AT you kind of way)
Can I have a bash at the tea and crumpets but leave Wallace and Gromit well alone? Never was much of a fan really.

Since my first exposure last October, I am getting really good at my impersonation of the best catch-phrase in cinema history since "Go ahead, make my day" and "Here's looking at you, kid.":

More Cheese, Gromit?

HAHAHAHA!!!! Tell me about it. It is DIRE!!!!

She'll Never Be Me (written by 😑 Justin Timberlake)

Considering the author, I'll bet many a critic has had a field day with this one!

Let's examine what's inside Justin's mind:
"You know I'm one of a kind / Can't get me out of your mind / And when you look in my eyes / Is it hard for you to realize / She'll never be me"

I love modest songs. Ones where all the pride, arrogance, and selfish thoughts are out of the singer's mind and they can show their true, heartfelt emotions for the one they truly love. Which leads me to wonder which was worse: Justin's penmanship (or the guy who actually typed the lyrics), or Britney's choice to sing them? Either way, it's a catchy tune...if your life resembles the plot of Mean Girls.
