Britney Spears

That's actually my favourite out of all her unreleased tracks. Doesn't make me mean, I read it in a different way. Sometimes people are never happy with what they've got, and the grass is always greener on the other side. Although, it's quite likely that once you get on the other side you realise that what you had before was better.
Ok, think about this scenario. You are Britney. Kevin left you for another woman over a year ago. You see him out with her on a regular basis. Despite that, he attacks some guy for acknowledging your existence because he considers you to still be his property. You feel desperately sorry for the other girl, because she obviously isn't making him happy, and you know that when he isn't happy, he makes everyone around him feel worse than he does.
Anyway, that's what that song means to me. I even made a video for it!!!

Can you elaborate on this part of your post?

You are his wife, regardless of the fact that he left you for another woman, and therefore he considers that no other man has the right to speak to you.
As for the term attacks, either takes the offending creature to one side and not so politely threatens them with their life if they ever speak to you again, or takes the poor chap outside and beats him to a pulp. Take your pick.

Anyway, lets get off that subject! It's depressing.
Nearly finished with this era, and let me tell you, at the moment you're rating it lower than the other two.............

Let Me Be

Sometimes I question who in the Britney camp is actually making the decisions about which songs should be released and which should be unreleased. I think on this album, Britney, a majority of the unreleased tracks have clearly shown to be superior in content than the majority of the released tracks.

Oh, and this song? It sounds like a bumpin' nursery rhyme and won't be confused with the Beatles song any time soon. I'll grant Britney her favour, though, and leave her alone.

Hmm, I don't like that because I definately think this album is better. Maybe I've being a bit more critical and going towards judging by my standards instead of Britney's.

*EDIT* I went back and looked at my rating practices and I think the consistencies are a bit off. I adjusted the newer ratings accordingly (just slightly).

If it weren't for 2 versions of "Boys" weighing it down, I'm sure the ratings would be much better.

LOL! I didn't think the album version was that bad. But I absolutely LOATHE the co-ed version. The song is titled BOYS so can someone please explain to me why some dude is singing about girls?

What It's Like To Be Me

This song features Justin Limbercake, and I'm afraid he's reduced to a series of "Pshh! Bppt!" be-bop rapping noises in the background. Truly sad.

Britney tells her suitor to "walk a mile in my shoes / Do me right or I'm through," but don't everyone get your hopes up just yet. It's clear that in this song she's trying to push away a boy who's just a little bit too anxious to un-make her bed. Contrary to "Intimidated," this is when she's with the manly, aggressive boys...so I'm confused as to why Justin Timberlake is associated with this song.

*EDITED BY MYSELF* Sorry, I was just talking some smack about you, that's all 😉 and changed my mind. 😗

Que? What does that mean? I'm confused!!!!!

Sorry to change the subject but check this out:

BRITNEY SPEARS has called on California police to help her battle the paparazzi who follow her everywhere, but law officials have told her there's nothing they can do.
The pop superstar reveals she flagged down officers during one recent hair-raising paparazzi chase and alerted them to the maniacs following her.
She tells America's People magazine, "I've pulled over and asked the cops, 'Could you please help me? They've been driving recklessly back there.'
"They say, 'Sorry, ma'am, I can't help you. This is how it is.'
"I mean, PRINCESS DIANA got killed by one of these people. They're crossing the line."
Spears was recently criticised when she was spotted driving with her baby son SEAN PRESTON on her lap - in an effort to avoid the paparazzi."

Nice to know the cops over there are about as useless as they are over here. Bastards. I hate them!

Anyway, What Its Like To Be Me. Seriously catchy man! I like it. It's one of my favourites this week. It's appropriate. Also, the dance she did for it during her DWAD tour raised a few eyebrows. Well, one move did anyway.

How old is Britney now?

She's 24. She'll be 25 this December.

Overprotected (Dark Child Remix)

Ooh, "Dark Child Remix" ... creepy!

This remix is clearly better than the original, which I gave a 6.5, so it wasn't as bad as Miss Summers made my rating out to be. 😛 I'm not going into the lyrics again, but instead I'll focus on the beat. (again, remember that I have a tiny speaker in my office...it's not like I'm blasting the song throughout my house on a subwoofer!).

I like the echos, reverb, and overall vocal quality and backing vocals. It's still a little sloppy, but most of the faster songs are anyways. I think it's a vast improvement over the original, and since I disregarded the original before you said it was your favourite, I don't exactly remember how it was better, but I just know it is. Okay?

Each to their own. I think the album version is better, but then that's me. Not that I dislike the Darkchild remix, I actually really like it.

Damn these pics are getting BIG!!!!

I was about to ask what was with these ginormous pics? I've got a 19" monitor at work and I'm sitting here with Britney's body almost actual size!

Can you save them as a JPEG and then post as an attachment?

No, I tried that. Well, they make the place more interesting!
LOL....talk about saving the best for last. All you have left to review is Anticipating. Good luck my luv!

Wow, i'm excited now! I remember you writing "no comment" after this song title earlier in this thread, so I can't wait for this one...unless you're bluffing, of course.

Just curious...does Britney wear (or not wear, for that matter 😉)her jackets like that out in public?

Erm....no comment....................!
I doubt it. Don't forget, there's a big difference between Britney and Britney Spears. She likes wearing sweats in her own time.

😂 That picture of her in the green jacket, it looks like Britney herself's sitting on my desk! That should make my co-workers jealous, eh?
