Neo didn't die because if you remember from the movie he saw the machine over him in after he had destroyed smith. But all the other 5 ones were neo but they always made the same mistakes over again until he came around and changed that. THe oracle even said she couldn't see neo's future because his chooses kept changing.

I was so upset when trinity died she was my favorite character. Oh and
