Omega> the way i see it is, neo became complete when Smith took him over, "some part of Smith got imprinted onto Neo, some part copied or overwritten" so that, the Code within Neo is complete, it is whole. When Smith copied over neo, Neo was, essentially, crucified, for all of humanity. Thus, neo ascended, or became one with the Matrix, or the greater "world" (which would be the eastern religion aspect) and neo is still alive, but he can no longer leave the matrix, he is part of it. Neo has, in essence, set up a "heaven on earth" in the matrix...

Here are my cying points:
1. When Trin got off the Train @ Mobile ave and ran to Neo and they hugged and kissed.
2. When Neo and Morph said their goodbye and hugged
3. When Trin died (which I had a feeling would happen)
4. When Neo died and his body was carried away
5. When the credits started rolling
PS I said in an early post/poll that I thought Trin would die, but I was sure of it on Wed. when Carrie-Anne, Lawrence and Jada were all on the Today show and Matt said that when Carrie-Anne finished filming they threw her a party.
I need Cookies....Rev really touched me ALL 5 times that I've seen it (in the theater).

It was a bitter, twisted Tragedy (notice the capital 'T'😉 that left you unable to speak for many minutes after. I have to admit though, I did cheer when the lights came back up, celebrating the end of an era and whatnot. I had a very cool night last Wednesday.

As Omega stated, you can only reach Nirvana by giving up love, wants, etc. As stated by the Architect, Neo was the only anomaly to experience love. So I think that his love for Trinity kept him in the cycle. So when he died and she kisses him, it brought him back (that could also explain why Smith was surprised when Neo got back up and stopped the bullets, because he didn't think Neo was the anomaly because he died). Neo's death in Revolutions could then represent Jesus.
Its gonna be a LONG road to being able to watch this movie without crying...i just watched from the Oracle saying "Cookies need love like everything does" to "You know whats changed in the last 6 hours?" And i had to stop, i couldn't take it anymore...the emotion, the love, and knowing Trins gonna die...I, you were right, Omega, it IS worse the second time through, and i couldn't even make it through 30 minutes..."I can't take this"...*sniffle* I can't...*all out crying*
