I mean fair deal that they're trying to protect people but isn't their main concern being the "best" country?
They try and make people thin so they can have the lowest obesity rate - they try and ban drugs so noones dodgy in their country - they try and make people stay in school so they have a higher education rate and la di dah di dah
If we lived in true democracy people would be allowed to do what they want (to a certain extent.) I think as long as it's not directly killing anyone or hurting them (like torture or bashings etc) then it should be legal 😬

Consider heroin, if someone's injected with it once, they're addicted for life unless they go through rehab for months, even years. And if it's a girl, their baby's going to be born addicted as well. Other drugs can have a very serious effect on babies. Someone I know, her mother was an addict; because of that, she's not going to make it past 40.
So? One case. Heroin is admittedly a nasty, dangerous drug, but I'm in no position to tell someone they can't take it.

although i see drugs as bad, many of them are natural substances that have been used for thousands of years. How can I be told I can't grow a certain plant in my backyard? I can grow poison ivy, even though it's stupid. I can buy a pit bull, or a huge snake, why can't I buy a simple plant? Do you see what I mean? Why should a country have the power (even though it is voted for, not by all though) to take away something natural?

Thats a good point, cyanide can be produced by fungus and algae lets allow that to be grown as well!

I agree, people have such a diverse view on heavier drugs because its not mainstream. Yet people are open arms to ciggarettes and cigars, and booze because they see it everyday in common folks, good or bad.
I think atleast weed should be legalized. It shoulda been godamned legalized when lincoln was fighting for it.
I myself am only sixteen and have never experienced anything past weed, but i don't want to die without expereincing what there is to experience.
I want to see what its like for the exspansion of the mind. I mean why not? So i can die an quante,(idk if spelled that right)straight laced old man without ever of taken a mind trip?

Legalising drugs doesn't mean everyone will get high. People aren't stupid, when we say, legalising all drugs, we mean treating them like Alcohol, Tobacco and Caffeine. Now, unless you have a problem with them being legal also, you're looking pretty stupid. 😉

you're right, but it's not somehting someone would want to grow because it is lethal to them, and if they were planning murder with it, psh, like they couldn't have used rat poison? What's the difference?
