To bad, you can save him. At times people need to be protected from their own flaws, and that is were friends prove themselves to be real friends.

Well, you can't really win it since it is a stupid concept. But the way I meant it is that this so-called "War on Drugs" did not decrease the amount of drugs or drug related crimes.

Not that I haven't described the ill effects drugs have on the individual and the community all ready.
They mess you up and cause you to be a menace or at least a leech to yourself and those around you. And that is exactly where the shit really hits the fan; causing agony to other people.
This has been said here before, but let me rephrase: up your rectum with freedom, opinion and shit like that when those afflict other people, unwilling to be exposed to the sickness that can be included in those expressions.
Rape for example, it can be one sicko's wish but should you allow him to do so because he desires to?
Basically, every action that negatively influences another being should be illegal.
