I've come to pay my respect for Heath Ledger. Too bad there is sh*t being talked about him. He was a talented actor and had many more movies in him to prove that.Be respectful, what if you died and everyone said you sucked? Later.
Well if you died and I said you sucked, what are going to do about it, huh?

He should have known, I agree, but hopefully this will serve as a message and maybe people will be more careful
Hopefully. I would like to believe that's why Lindsay Lohan broke down and cried so much after he died. She's constantly partying and doing drugs despite going to rehab, while Heath, a good man and father whom everyone seemed to love (including the public), dies from accidentally overdosing on legal medication. Maybe this is a wake up call for her to see just how close she's come to death herself.
there is this article : Heath Ledger 'death in bathtub' Nick Drake video
anyways its about Heath making a video to a Nick Drake song... anyways you can read the entire article and the significances at the link...
and also you can watch pieces of the video... Heath is suppose to be drowning the bathtub at the end... but they didn't show it all... and not sure I'd want to see it all either
here is the link to the article and video:

Agreed because I have heard she is addicted to the very drugs that took his life.
Can an intelligent Heath Ledger fan provide me with a list of films in which they think Heath Ledger produced an above average performance? I'm just curious because I was having a conversation about how people who die young have their careers instantly hyped beyond their talent.
I thought he was good in Candy and his performance as the Joker was very good... but other than that I seriously believe he did nothing of note.
Also, was his performance as The Joker instantly oscar worthy? because I left the cinema thinking "It's good, but it could be topped"... not that it WILL be, but it COULD be. All the talk of him being guaranteed an oscar is kind of disrespectful to any actors who potentially will put in a superior performance this year.
I expect about one serious reply to this post.... and hundreds of 'omg he's da best!!1 how daer you!' ones who completely missed the point.
Any performance can be topped, but it's a matter of time until it is. Jack held the reign for what...19 years? Truthfully, Heath Ledger was brilliant & he disappeared into the role. Both times I saw the movie I saw the Joker, not Heath. And sorry, I can't help ya, I haven't been able to check out his other movies just yet, but I will. Many were seeing he was a phenomenal talent when he was alive just as they are now.

I'm assuming you mean The Shining, yes? If so, would you say Ledgers performance topped that?
I'm asking because you said 'held' and not 'holds'

Honestly though, were they? Like I said, the only other film I thought he was any good in was Candy and that was an independant Australian film. Beyond that, really, where did he shine? he was ok in Brokeback, ok in I'm not there (completely and utterly upstaged by Cate Blanchett though)... Then after that you end up having to sift through stuff like A Knight's Tale and similar rubbish.
His filmography was weak, if it was for his role as the joker his career would have faded into obscurity.
