The Beatles

So yeah, picked up Please, Please Me on vinyl yesterday, can't wait to give the whole thing a listen. I got it at a record fair and was surprised at how much some of those Beatles vinyls are going for. However, it does just go to show how much of a collector's band The Beatles really are now to the point where it's not even about music. I'm sure I've said this before but since I'm posting in it I'll just state it again. The Beatles made song good to excellent (the excellent being much MUCH fewer than just the good or great songs) music but what I saw yesterday (especially with a guy talking to the owner of a record asking and discussion whether or not the owner's copy of Meet The Beatles was indeed the pressing of the Canadian issue) just went on the further give The Beatles the claim of most overrated band ever.

Dudes, dont waste your time with the boring idiot snob number one in these forums, alpha centauri. I had several discussions with him in the past and the only thing that he can do is repeating the same bullshit over and over again.

Sorry for your little brain, centauri, but the beatles rocks and are the number one band of all time. Lennon, mcarney , harrison and starr rocks. British rules. And if you cant acept it, shame on you, little guy.

I have just recently gotten into the Beatles after never having liked them in the past, in doing so i realize the simplicity of their music but the lyrics and music ocme together so well. The harmonics and backgrounds in all their songs are just amazing.
